LOL I just got back from a ryanair flight from frankfurt hahn to manchester.

The air hostesses were all munters, they gave no free food (lufthansa ftw), the plane was ugly as fuck inside, and the pilots were absolute shite - having to use the emergency brake making everyone shit themselves 'cos they came into land too fast.

Fuck I'm going with lufthansa next time. At least their air hostesses give me something for the wank bank.

@towaritch I think that this is what the video is all about. The seat does not cost much if you book early but everything else is charged extra. As you mention there is the 'renaming of airports' - Girona is now Barcelona. I thought I was flying to Glasgow and only when the 'plane landed did I find out I was in Ayr. And that was from Brussels South (namely somewhere near Charleroi and nowhere near Brussels).

They are cheap, but when I went to Ireland from London UK, I simply didn't pay for any extras. BTW, if they remake this, they'll have no problem with the charges: most airplanes charge by credit card for anything now, so no worries about unexpected high charges or correct change... charge it!

@Mr77os1 What is everything else? If you are a simple traveler with just a carry on luggage, and a ability to resist10€ pretzels then there is no anything else. Flights will always be less than 30€. When I flew to Venice, I saw online that the airport was a 45 minute bus ride away and looked up that I could get a bus ticket to the city. Same case in Milan, 1 hour bus ride to the city. Whats the big deal? Just know which airport your plane is getting to and arrange it from there.

One thing I admire about Britain is that people have the tolerance to enjoy a programme like this. In Japan, this type of humour will be taken as offensive mockery and the TV company will be forced to apologise. We the Japanese are serious people. I think many passengers would be happy with no meals for 5 hours or even 12 hours. As long as the service takes all the necessary safety precautions, I would be personally happy.

In-flight catering duties must be very tiring for the flight attendants. I therefore welcome more alternatives and options for both passengers and prospective cabin staff.

When you compare it to train travel - I've many a time paid 70+ quid for the "pleasure" of crouching in the corridor of a train, next to the toilet that gets cleaned once month, where it's so crowded you can't even reach the drinks trolley even if you WANT to pay 6quid for the thinnest sandwich you've ever seen, for over TWO HOURS. compared to that, ryanair is first class luxury, and cheaper than car travel if you're sensible and don't CHOOSE to pay for the unnecessary extras!

I, on the other hand, don't have 600 quid every time I want to go abroad, so I think that fitting all your luggage into a rucksack and going 2 hours (at MOST!) without a sandwich is a pretty good deal if it only costs you 15 quid!!
