@chadro85 - The cardboard tube of the engine stayed in place. The solid propellant being old and brittle did not stay in place which allowed it to shoot out of the top of the engine tube and through the body of the rocket. It was almost like the engine was a bullet and the rocket was the gun, after being shot the casing (engine tube) stayed in the gun (the rocket). My advice, use added caution with any older, potentially unstable motors (and try to film everything, just in case)
