  • Do you use a controller or a steering wheel when you drift?

  • I wanna ask a question about the settings - but All settings??!! - if the uploader want to tell them of course...

I have rFactor , and all the damned files and mods i need , but there still something stupidly wrong!!! i want to know all your settings - 1 wheel profiler,2-in game FFB and settings 3- setups(for me setups for each car are bad-the car just start to slide like on damn ICE)4 even Controller.ini and realy ALL settings- i have a Logitech Driving Force GT , and yes i can DRIFT

  • @MiroVALVe The best place to get that information is from edrifting (dot) net .The best thing to do to start with to stop sliding is when your in the garage change your tires. I don't mean the spinner, when you have loaded the track in the garage menu you have a tire selection, the tires in the spinner as upgrades are for racing and have a lower steering range, they aren't good for drifting, the default tires are very slippery, the other tires have more grip.

  • @mianiak Thanks i will try some settings.I play now the D1GP mod which seems alot better to me- it have 3 cars but i can drift well with them - just like on lfs ... and yes i was changing the tires before with OBS but the same shit happens - whatever i'll try diferent settings in OBS especially

    sry for bad Eng

  • @mianiak in ur edrifting (dot) net i dont find any setup

  • @MiroVALVe I also have problems drifting this mod, but the more i try, the more realistic it seems. First important thing is to get the tires up to temperature (i use the toyos), this takes a few rounds, to speed the process up you can lower the tire pressures by about 15-20. If you dont like the oversteer without any e-braking, you should lower the rear sway bar value. BTW: Im using a DFP, but its much easier if you have a wheel with a clutch...

  • @87eraser87 I actually managed to drift with a AE86 with Tsuchia engine , Holinger gearbox , and a few settings also , but the othe cars just keep sliding like a waterdrop on a frying pan with whatever tires or setups or even FFB setting - i just don't get it at all - the reason of this mod is to drift , but it seems the cars don't want to drift , anyway i play now D1GP mod which is awesome !! It's true that the mod is realistic - i like it , but there is something wrong , just try D1GP mod...
