no eventually, every time u turn on your HID there is a discharged that why some hid flicks the first time it turns on, the light starts from low to the brightest.... i have already install hid 3000, 6000 and 8000kelvin .....

you are mistaken...works like florescent so when you turn them on, they will still do that whether you want them to or not.

You can jump in and drive off immediately at night. What you notice is a flicker

the daytime running lights on new civics are just your highbeams at about half power when you turn on the regular headlights they shut off and when you turn on highbeam it gets the full 55watts.

Some asshole marked you as spam but you're absolutely right. The cheap kits don't focus the beam correctly and you just end up blinding the hell out of any oncoming traffic. Do it right and get a projector retrofit if your car doesn't have HIDs from the factory guys...

i would only go with 6 k if you have projectors and its high watt,a 6k 35w bulb will be very blue,a 6k at 55w will be much whiter with a hint a blue with projectors it wil be almost pure white with just a hint of blue at the cutoff line.
