Never heard about the connection between blood and qi? As TCM says, blood and qi cannot be parted. Where there is blood, there is qi and vice versa. But also you can say: Send your concentration to a particular part of your body, hold it there and your vessels will expand, which results in a stronger flow of blood in this particular area. The qi-sensation is nothing else than a stronger blood flow. The relation between focusing techniques and blood flow is scientifically and medicinal proven.

In this case I do actually think the video of the guy setting the piece of paper on fire was fake, the way he scrunched up the paper didn't look right and the blood on the hands was over the top. However I have seen it done with a random piece of paper that was given to the guy and there was no blood at the end of it. The guy wasn't even touching the paper and you could see it shaking before it burst into flames.

The placebo effect just demonstrates the power of what you can do with your mind. If you truly believe you have control over your chi or body's energy field then you might obtain that ability. You beliefs and confidence, your outlook on the world your optimism effects you.

Believing you are doing something to help your body that doesn't normally help, under the right circumstances, does actually help. Which is as you know the placebo effect. First of all, placebo effects are a mental state, which of very limited ability to improve anything aside from perception. Just because placebo effect exists with the concept of chi doesn't mean that the energy field has anything to do with it. It also doesn't mean that the chi placebo effect is any better than any other placebo effect, it could be worse.

Scientifically speaking the only thing this video shows is that mixing two chemicals can either create fire, or a reddish liquid. The rest is just a dramatization of what COULD have happened. If you want to see the real thing (with real science behind it) search for the Wim Hof TEDtalk. Wim is legit, John Chang is legit, Lama Dondrup Dorje is legit, along with all who do the work to be.
Clearly the John Chang (Dynamo Jack) demonstration is not the same as this "debunking" demo. Chang doesn't fold the newspaper like the guy in this video. He just crumples it and there is no blood.

In this case I do actually think the video of the guy setting the piece of paper on fire was fake, the way he scrunched up the paper didn't look right and the blood on the hands was over the top. However I have seen it done with a random piece of paper that was given to the guy and there was no blood at the end of it. The guy wasn't even touching the paper and you could see it shaking before it burst into flames.

This scam is a great example of pseudo science. There is no deductive reasoning behind their conclusions. Scientifically speaking the only thing this video shows is that mixing two chemicals can either create fire, or a reddish liquid. The rest is just a dramatization of what COULD have happened. Jumping, brick breaking, starting fires, healing or moving objects. The power of chi is real and anyone can do it. Young, old, big or small. All you need is four to eight years to practice. Improve your eye sight, hearing and memory. Don't get scared when things you can do seam unnatural as I did many years ago

ive been studying how to gather and dispurse chi most of my life and i know not guess but know its real..... some signifacant and amazing people have aloud us to see there skills so that we might understand not just that chi is real but infact with practise and determination of a single goal almost ne thing is possible......dont try to discredit what those of us who study chi have felt. no amount of mixed chemicals on paper can take away the awsome feeling of creating chi.....and thats a fact!!
