I think theism actually is less compatible with freewill than naturalism. If our freewill is controlled by our soul according to theists. Who created our souls? Why do some people committ more crimes than others? What accounts for that with the freewilled soul argument? If you believe you soul was created, then the creator has the power of who gets the moral souls and who doesn't.
