  • @cineural it is called the simple system flute.

  • @cineural Wooden Concert Flute, perhaps.

  • ur holding it roung

  • This flute is fully chromatic. Just 4 keys on an Irish flute makes it fully chromatic. Other keys are often added for convenience. This flute was also made as a left-handed flute, with the keys positioned accordingly. Otherwise he wouldn't be able to play it because the keys would be on the wrong sides of the holes and would be in the way.

  • what key is his flute

  • G natural.

  • are you sure? sounds and looks like a D to me

  • Its a D flute. the first and last tunes are in G major, the middle one is in D major

  • That last tune is very similar to Road to Errogie.

  • @jiggolojoe

it is. both of those tunes are wonderful! i wish i could them like he, i'll get there eventually haha

  • seriously i gotta learn this shit, wonder how much a flute costs :P

  • yes they do:)

you get them in right and left handed:)

ive played flute for 8 years..

the irish flute in me opinion, is the most beautiful of all the flutes:)

i play the western concert flute and irish flute:)

  • It was invented by a guy called Charles Nicolson in 1800 and he was English. This type of flute became obsolete in the mid 1850s by players when the Bohem system came into use and thats the period that Irish players started using the flute as they were cheap. So its actually an English flute.

  • Well I suppose that since it's not a chromatic flute, it's probably just as easy to play left handed or right handed. I don't know though because I just play a chromatic flute, but I would love to get an Irish flute

  • @CyrusStirling

Even though the flute isnt fully chromatic it still has some keys, so playing this right-handed would be problematic.

  • Especially the flute player yeah baby. Yes I am Gay.

  • They are so hot.

  • vry nice...how old are ye...dont look too old only bout 18 so must of started as babbas

  • anyone know who's the maker of this flute? I love the tone!
