Nice. I built two of these about 10 years ago, the Freeform F.L.E.D. Photovore, I think they were called... I just called them Fred. The second of the pair just quit working recently and is waiting for repairs. Thanks for sharing the video!
Hey nice video. i just built that bot, or something close from a kit. but i have a question... how long does it take to charge in the sun. also, will it charge under a light bulb or does it need sunlight.
Each time is jumps it charged the capacitor. I have the same kit and mine works indoors sometimes. It just takes 15-30 seconds for it to charge indoors, They work a lot better outside as with any solar panel.
ATTENTION YOUTUBERS: Guys, I need advice on how to build it...NOW!!! It's on it's way but this is my first beam bot!!! Any tips for this photopopper's construction will be apreciated. THNX
Holy Shitzky! That thing really moves out! Is it the stock kit or did you make some of your own changes? (Or was that video shot at the equator at high noon?)
I'm only 11 and ima try to make one soon. I am ordering it very soon. Any tips? stackemtotheheavens1, You screwed up once, what did you learn from your mistake?

Very nice, good action. Was it a kit, or your own design?

This was a kit, this one is obviously freeformed, but there is also a kit avalible with a PCB.
