That bears a striking resemblance to Capoeira. A type of Brazilian martial arts that is hidden in dance. It was founded by slaves. They hid it in their dances to keep their owners from recognizing it as fighting skills. Glad to see you're better!
@singingcowboy674 Yes I know of Capoeira but what I practice is usually under the label of "tricking". There are similarities because the concept is the same. Tricking is quite basically any acrobatic human feats including various disciplines such as gymnastics, martial arts, capoeira, and breakdancing.
Other stuff I like to do includes parkour and freerunning which involves moving yourself around your environment, all very fun stuff!
Hey im 2 years after acl injury i train parkour and tricking 4 years but after injury i still cant back to good landings and good jumps from right leg do you feel you are 100% back after sugery ?
@Norf1989Tricker Yea, I feel as good as new, sometimes even forgetting I ever had an injury to begin with. I was really diligent with my physical therapy though, stretching and strengthening the specific muscles as much as I could.
It could also be a psychological reason. At first I did find myself favoring the leg by not using it as much which can make it even weaker. You just have to pay attention to exercise both legs evenly. Why no videos up? I'd like to see what you can do.
@Omadah Yea it is primarily a Chinese Kung Fu style front sweep but it can look pretty suave in a combo. Try that front Chinese sweep into a more Japanese-esque spinning back leg sweep and it will look really cool.
Welcome back to the craziness, my awesome tricking best friend~ Nice compilation of you getting back into the swing of things. My thought while watching this was "why aren't you submitting stuff for stuntman jobs?" XD Despite you working your way back up, might as well put yourself out there like I am for modeling again. ^^;
Glad to hear you're doing daily workouts now too! Nothing makes me happier than seeing results, you know? Hope to one day be able to practice tricking again. =]
@PlaythroughsCenter Um, I don't think you understood my question. It appeared as though you were giving me advice so I was asking if you practice on your own. So...do you?
That straddle on the trees in the beginning...WOW, that was so cool. This is a great video and I like how you put all the different places you went tricking.

it's simple for the trees, you only need focus, need a lot of exercices with your body in order to be able to make it. But good video.

@PlaythroughsCenter Thank you, I am guessing you trick/parkour?
