It's funny how in the "capitalist" 1950's, the top tax rate for individuals was a staggering 91% and the top corporate tax rate was 50%... Considering the era, I'm surprised they are promoting SS instead of calling it socialist...
Also interesting is the crusty yet highly automated record keeping. The dollar sure has lost a lot of value if $200/month was the maximum benefit...
