It's the "parting" that confuses me when it comes to side french braids, not the braiding part. How you can keep track of where you are is amazing! It looks like you're really struggling 90% of the time but in the end it was like a CELEBRITY UPDO! This video is so raw that it helps me want to keep practicing. It's worth it everyone!

I like how you started the side braid on the complete opposite side. I have such long, thick hair that your approach may work better than starting it under the ear (like a side pony), which tends to look too thick and weighs down any volume I've added. Totally gonna give this a shot!
