For some reason my knees feel more pain than my abs
"Try this awesome ab exercise that will tighten and tone your abs in no time!" and that's a bit misleading because your abs is about 70% what you eat and 30% cardio/ab exercises! Not too hard to get great abs but very easy to lose them!
I've been using this abwheel for two days straight now, and I'm trying to tone my stomach how long do you think it will take to actually see results? I know it's different for everyone but how long did it take you?
@Piscess86 you should start to see a little difference in just a few weeks, but this wont help you burn stomach fat, that will only happen with better eating and certain cardio
@Piscess86 It largely depends on how you eat and in some ways it's harder than the exercise part because you're eating very boring food like oatmeal, grilled chicken (without junk additives), brown rice, etc. etc.
And then there's steroids and creatine which more people than you might think use. I'd say 35%-70% of people you see at the gym who aren't seniors use steroids and/or creatine you don't have to look like the Hulk to be juicing.
@chillwill120 you def want to give yourself a break, otherwise your body will get used to the movement and it will lose its effectiveness. Dont forget to stretch your lower back afterwards...
Hey everyone I have this one but a blue fater version and when I use it i don't really feel anything in my abs, even while standing. I only feel it in my arms lol.
I just did my first exercise on this. I could only go out a few feet. It's frustrating and discouraging at first! I had trouble keeping my back from arching. This exercise takes patience.
my stepdad used to make us do this when we were kids. AND YES ANY wheel works. we used a lawn mower wheel with a piece of RE-BAR stuck throw the holes..GREAT WORK OUT GREAT ABBS in very little time,,, becareful on your first try you WILL hurt yourself! When you get tired stop or youll pound your face into the wheel or the ground
great advice you have to work up the strength to do this exercise, just start slow and go as far as you can. Over time you will be able to go further...
there is this one workout that involves one dumbbell, that helps strengthen your lower and i think upper back as well, but when i tried doing just one of these without overworking myself with it, my back hurt really bad, and then with that 1 dumbbell workout, and then the ab thing, my back didn't hurt at all. good tip though (vid and what i said =b)
thats a big ass wheel . ur lil son must be crying asking u what u did with his bike , where is my other wheel

This is a great exercise! In Canada; you can pick up a decent fitness wheel for ~$10 at "Canadian Tire." It's called the "Zön Fitness Wheel."

@cloudtrulyamazed 2 times a week is plenty, and do as many reps as you can before your form gets bad, otherwise you might hurt yourself...

yeah this is not something you want to rush into, take it slow, eventually you will be able to go further.

aren't you supposed to keep your shoulders straight and your arms at the same line as your back?

That gave me an idea. Just take a small bike wheel (12") and use the pegs from freestyle bikes for handles.

He said get as many reps as you can.

would that train your six pack abs??
cause when I do, all the pressure is on my arm
bararah 4 years ago 2
it will certainly work your arms as well as your abs, it is tough but keep working at it... Thanks!
kcannone 4 years ago
I've been trying to do it on my foot not my knees and it's very very hard. You have to have rack hard body to do that
jukcoder 4 years ago
Using your feet instead of your knees will put a tremendous amount of pressure on your back. Rather use your knees instead.
