Allthough I really enjoyed the Video, reminds me of the days I spent in Moab with my Jeep. I do safety tech inspections for another form of motorsports and that cooler that went tumbling really raised a red flag for me. It was only held in with a bungie cord and would have took the owner 5 seconds to remove it. It is just commen sense and I am amazed the tech officer missed it.

@Euugor  Yes, but I'd rather live in a world where people are free to put themselves in harms way if they choose to. Rather than a world where we have those choices stripped from us for fear we might hurt ourselves. From a business stand point you're right, not smart (lawsuit waiting to happen). From a personal freedom stand point, I'll take my chances of being rolled over for the sake of a front row seat. :)

@skever56 Because it adds leverage to keep the crawler from tipping as much. Any added pressure helps with traction. I've seen rigs that were going to roll over for sure, until the spotter pulled them back down with the rope.

Yeah, I couldn't resist putting it in. During the competition I saw this kid playing with it right next to the courses where the pros were driving the real rigs. This was also the very first time I saw a RC crawler. Shows you how long ago this was.
