Knowing the beautiful version of Krishna Das and his daughter I must say that Premal can't hold a candle to her. To me she gives the impresision of overacting and being artificial.

The concert was wonderful, start to finish. I find Deva Premal to be completely genuine. Both of them, all three of them, all seven of them, plus the roadies and producers did a beautiful, beautiful job. Every concert is different and real. This is kirtan after all, a devotional experience~ it must fit the people and the night. I am thankful that these musicians have given their time and their life to sing with us. Perhaps some people do not know what they see when they watch devotion.

I love Krishna Das but why he is doing this tour with Deva Premal is beyond me. I went to the show in Portland and enjoyed Krishna Das but could only last about five minutes into Deva Premals set until I walked out.....she is just so awful and full of herself that she makes me sick.
