@fadinho89 officer school. you go to college here for free in exchange for army service. upon graduation, you are commisioned as a 2nd lt in the us army. this school isnt any bullshit either... it's one of the most prestigious schools in the US and the acceptance rate of their applicants is like 12%-20% i'm not completely sure. the united states NAVAL academy (annapolis) has an 8% acceptance rate..... even less than schools like Harvard. I think i'll apply here. if i get denied, rotc it is lol

@KingConservative It really depends what you want to do. I had to make the same decision recently, as well. USAFA is definitely the place to be if you want to become a pilot, but if you aren't a pilot, you'll work at a desk. Army has more options if you are not going the pilot route, which is what I ended up going with.

You're talking nonsense.  Maybe you need a little history lesson. We have a volunteer army. During the civil war every battle fought had West Point graduates commanding on both sides. West Pointers represent a broad swat of our great country. If things came to that - I'd probably be in your camp stupid. Now get it right - people trained to fight attack on a cold rainy dawn to make sure your are wiping crumbs from your eyes when the violence of action commences - speaking of blurs.

That's not true. West Point is Army - most graduates go to the Army. The Naval Academy is for the Navy and most graduates go to the Navy - since the Marines are a division of the Navy - some also go to the Marines. Often overlooked are the Merchant Marines at Kings Point, NY - created during WWII to keep shipping going in time of war and the Coast Guard Academy which is for the coast guard. Sometimes people graduating make a deal and switch commissions to be in another service branch.

Every member of the military takes an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the U.S., not the president. BO is not a natural born citizen, therefore he is not eligible to serve as president.

His orders to the military are illegal, it is a severe violation of the UCMJ to obey an illegal order. Every member of the military has an obligation to oppose a usurper.

Obeying BO could result in charges of committing war crimes. Nuremberg: just following orders is no defense.

Actually the Constitution states,"No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President". Under the 14th Amendment it does not matter if your parents are "natural born" thus Obama by being born in the States is eligible for the highest office in the land. You're right on Schwarzenegger...McCain was born abroad (Japan) from citizen parents on a base, thus he qualified too.
