  • "Hey there, Roy. Is that the cat that chewed your new shoes?" -George Burns

  • For some reason I have a sudden urge to take a train to Tennessee...

  • @Flashmikko THe best part is that there are no passenger trains that run into Chattanooga anymore.

  • @Mcoov Why do you say that's the best part? That's extremely depressing....

  • @Flashmikko I meant that it was ironic.

  • @Mcoov It being his "desire".

  • @Mcoov I know, I was just being annoying.

  • Who is singing lead? Sounds like Perry como..

  • Surprisingly, I love metal and stuff like this... it's kind of strange, anyway, the 40's and 50's had some great music!

  • 2 people got on the wrong train and ended up in the middle of nowhere instead of Chatanooga...

I know little bit about the ancient art of "music" but if someone from the past could use their t-8900dvc to respond to my comment I would appreciate greatly it.

postscript(sorry my OldEnglish isn't very good)

  • Lol its a form of jazz known as Big Band. Specifically its written about a railway vehicle that operated out of Chatanoogah. It was common to romanticise such things in the 1930s and 40s.

  • thank you, as a reward for your advice I leave you with this hint. Bet all your money on the 2126 Super Bowl, bet on the Oklahoma City Chiefs by a 10 point margin.

I know it will seem unlikely, but then end up winning and you will 6x your life earnings.

  • @jedidree LMFAO I love you

  • i love this type of music...never goes out of style

  • yea.

  • @wannabeabear thats because its music. todays generation has no real music. no talent, no trying, today its more what the "singer" is wearing:( all shit.

  • @ithaLissE

Are you kidding me? How does today's generation not produce any "real music"? I mean, this song's great, but your comment sounds really biased.

  • @ybrik222 These guys were really singing, today 99.9% of "Singers" use Perfect Pitch, so they can sing like crap and the computer fixes it in real time to sound dead on..Not to mention this is all one take one track, no multi-track recording. I have alot of respect for what these guys did.

  • @TheMaxx111

You know... I saw the Arcade Fire play at Toronto yesterday. Regardless of what you may think about technology secretly mending music these days, I still could easily tell that all members of the band were very into their music and were extremely energetic. And although I'm about as knowledgeable as the next guy about what goes on behind the scenes, I'm going to doubt that your statistic of "99.9%" of people using "Perfect Pitch".

  • @ybrik222 It's true, maybe not 99.9%, but certainly the big stars of today. Ever noticed how different the Black Eyed Peas, Linkin Park, and many other preformers sound when they record a song to when they give live preformances? Computers have sadly given people with only a little talent to make them 'super-sized.' It was preformers like Glenn Miller who had REAL talent.

  • @rhumbustification

First, I have to say that I just noticed that grammar error in the last sentence of my previous comment. I am now sad.

Anyways, I can completely agree with your point the Black Eyed Peas and artists like them; they completely overproduce their music. However, less popular artists tend to produce their music less (I'm not saying that Arcade Fire isn't popular). I know some bands that make their music low quality just because they can (it's actually pretty good music, too).

  • @ybrik222 Fair point. I totally agree with you about the 'lesser-known' bands - and it's a shame that they are lesser -known. Perhaps its the big corporations that's behind the blasphemy?

  • @rhumbustification

No; it's the dumbed-down and instant gratification seeking mindsets of today's listeners. Well... Most of them.

  • @TheMaxx111 99.9%? I highly doubt that.

  • wow, awesome!! I was born in 60' and find this really toe tappin'! Love it! Thank you for sharing!

  • love it........

  • ein echter Klassiker - 5*****
