  • Everybody says there is a RACE problem that can only be solved when the third world pours into EVERY white country and "assimilates."

What if I said there was this RACE problem that could only be solved only if hundreds of millions of non-blacks were brought into EVERY black country? How long before people realize I’m not talking about a RACE problem, but a final solution to the BLACK problem? They say they are anti-racist. What they are is anti-white. Anti-racist is a code word for anti-white

  • @9inty5ive hell no i hate that puto...il go listen to som intocable or some roger creager

  • looks like abuncha faggots to mee

  • Isn't it originally the only ones who made this song?

  • @misskelevra

Yes the only ones 1978. Great song, great band to cover it.

  • drunk

  • blink 182's Version is better

  • first time i listen to this

  • isnt the drummer in this chris mars? if he is I LOVE HIS ART!

  • @Gingerlord01 yup chris mars!!

  • Love the Replacements. This is a pretty lackluster cover of this song though. I can only assume the boys tied one on and were having a little fun. :D

  • I thought i heard Basket Case in the beginning, Billie Joe Armstrong is totally a fan of The Replacements.

  • Worship them.

  • TheGameCat knows the score, damn right mate! Wot a horrible excuse for a cover. Why people try n make that song their own I do not know.

  • @dean6040 I don't know what your smoking, but get the shit out of your ears.

  • No fucking bands like this today... regular dudes writing exceptional songs.. not giving a fuck and just rocking out .. heart on their sleeves.

  • @pugghead nicely said

  • Except this was a cover:)

  • @pugghead If you like these guys check out The Chris Evans Collective debut album The search for the big nineteen.

  • blink 182 coverd this song :D wtf i never realised it was a cover untill now

  • @XFFCTpunkrowk this version is a cover. the replacements are covering the only ones

  • I didn't think anyone could butcher this song as badly as Blink 182. I was wrong.

  • @TheGameKat they make the song better

  • Slim. Ha ha... you're always gonna be one of my favorites of all time! That lazy lead is what you do best.

  • I'm just discovering the Replacements - heard a few of their bigger songs, anyobe have any suggestions of any more of their stuff I could check out?

  • @OnlyOneTreeHill8 Get "Sorry Ma Forgot to Take Out The Trash", listen to it until your ears bleed. Then get everything else you can lay your hands on and do likewise, and if you are lucky enough to find something like Shit, Shower, and a Shave, get it and make everyone you know listen to it until their ears bleed too...at least that is what I did in 1986.

  • Hey..OOPS! I stand corrected...thank you 'inboilsideath'....PEACE

  • Hey...I (finally) looked up the group 'The Replacements"...I have watched 'King of the Hill' for a short bit ...I've always liked the intro music...I'm liking a bit more of their music....PEACE

  • @bayethyl3 that was the Refreshments

  • Comment removed

  • shook down, down, down, the best ever

  • @dykepals

social distortion prison bound sounds like let it be by the beatles

  • mats are best band ever. Live shows were unbelievable. Hard to believe it was 30 years ago.

  • as if anyone under the age of 25 honestly knows what REAL rock and roll sounds like anymore. It's a shame, and nothing like you would EVER hear on the radio now.....

  • @themats89

you do realize that music from that time period is still accessible... right?

  • @themats89

    Don't rule us all out!

True, the major labels have been bombarding us with nothing but shit for the best part of a decade but that hasn't stopped the music fans among us looking back further to find bands like the Replacements and The Only Ones (I was listening to them long before I'd even heard of the Replacements). The internet has mostly replaced radio now - it's keeping rock alive and is my generation's means of finding good music.

  • lol sounds just like prison bound by social distortion.

  • Thumbs up for the replacements! Yeah!

  • this song is by the only ones, anyone who thinks its blink is a retard.

  • @Kaysea26 thank you!

  • Blink-182 didn't cover the Only Ones' song. They covered this song. Seems like something Blink would do; play a cover of a cover. :-\

  • this rocks so hard i can barely see straight.

Im sad that ill never be able to get black out drunk at a mats show.

  • Can't beat the original by the Only Ones...

  • i preffer pete doherty version lol .. i love all versions :D

  • Far better cover than Blink 182

  • @randyrhoads19902 HAHAHAHAHA!!!! oh my god man that was great! you should go into comedy i mean it. with material like that you could be the next George Carlin

  • @yamon98 im not trying to be funny dumbass

  • blink 182 couldn't lift this guy's nuts to see if they were underneath them

  • Love the Mats. I originally heard this song by them and discovered how great the Only Ones (original band) were. However, I only tonight discovered Blink 182 covers this. Ick. Westerberg, Stinsons & Mars kick the crap out of Blink musically any day.

  • the only acceptable cover of this classic.

  • the replacements can't replace the only ones...

  • Why is the rhythm guitarist's head so small?

  • well the guy in the denim jacket, looks like he plys lead^^

  • @tonupnolid It's a trick of the lighting.

  • because you touch yourself at night

  • not the best but still better than fuckin blink 182 hahaha

  • Egh, hated it when they'd play the Only Ones cover this slow.

They do it this drudgingly slow on the Puttin' on the Ritz bootleg, too.

"Long journeys wear me out," indeed.

  • @epsteinsmutha1 yea most the boots i got they play it a lot faster. They sound pretty drunk here so that probably accounts for the slowness!!

  • @jat13 Thanks! The best versions of this by the Mats are on the Shit, Shower and Shave compilation from the Petty tour. They had the proper amount of beer and coke in them at the time, I reckon :-)

  • Replacements and the Only Ones are Great bands, but the Only ones does this one better

  • I'm glad u said that, Bob seemed like a scapegoat for Paul when they booted him, he was no worse when it came to showin' up to play tanked. It was a lot harder for Bob to shake the rep when he was wearing a dress every night when they were plying in early-mid eighties

  • Best band ever. Period.

  • @pistolwhipmcgee can't disagree

  • @pistolwhipmcgee

    Generic band . Period.

  • @pistolwhipmcgee period.

  • Hahaha-got to love 'em!!

  • The Mats are not good drunk. They are great straight. Sloopy drunker glory? Maybe a glory hole

  • love the mats..but that sucked..compared to the original..sorry

  • Slim or Bob?

  • BOB that's a no brainer!

  • He's playing?

  • No, Slim is the one in this vid... Bob is the one who should be playing on any Mats song.

  • This is great, The Replacements in all their sloppy, drunken glory!!

One of the best alternative rock bands ever.

  • then why the fuck post a comment on a replacements when you don't even like them?

  • Because he's a self-rightous brit

  • @minichapman because dipshits, people often go to youtube to listen to bands for the first time. not every viewer must or is a "fan". how you got any thumbs up only proves the sheer stupidity of humans.

  • Everyone, please stop even mentioning Blink 182 on a Replacements video. And certainly stop saying their better.

    *twitch*

  • There's a better version of them covering this on the b-side of their All For Nothing retrospective.

  • Too fucking slow, and the lead can't play the solo or the intro. Maybe they're all fucked on drugs though, which would be more true to the only ones! Blink 182= not rock and roll

  • this is mmore like the original by the only ones which is good. but i do like blinks better.

  • then you're a fucking moron

  • i was about to write a big rant about how your a fuck head here but im gonna just say, your a fuck head, blinks version sucks ass

  • Maybe the best song ever written.

  • this is shit :S

  • lol@Blink182 is better than this. Ahh, to be 15 again.

  • HAHAHAHAHA no.

  • YES

  • Even though it's live, this version is superior. The Blink cover was over-produced shit.

  • Yes it was.

  • Slip Dunlop is a local Minny cat...that know someday he may reaplce Bob who was skipping band practice...PW is completely shit face here gang...hammered...

  • bob was the balls of the band. i just saw slim play with curtis A a couple months ago he's never been anything too special, anyway it a useless argument because everything after stink and about half of hootenany blew

  • You're crazy! Let it Be blows? Pleased to Meet Me blows? Tim blows? Well, okay, the production on Tim blows but the songs are great.

  • my buddy just gave me the worst nip twister ever!

  • yeah! Slim looks GREAT in this shot.

Screw Paul for dissing the Slim, man.

Slim Dunlap Band worked a great residency at the Turf Club with a monthly gig--and continue to make great music. Paul, as talented as he is, is a prima donna. That's goofy if you ask me.

  • mmmm sok I spose, somewhere between Blink and The Only Ones.

  • Nice. Thanks!

  • vikingchildren is a queer

  • bobby stinson is dead....not tommy....

  • travis would be the drummer. however mark and tom both sing.

  • OMG is everyone stupid. your right blink182 to suck and this WAS the best version was the best by tttttttttttttttttttttttthhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiisssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss much!!!

  • Looks like they got Keith Richards to replace Bob.

  • Slim (Bob) Dunlap, actually. He wasn't much of a guitarist, IMO.

Rumor was (never proven, as far as I know) at the time that it was Sire Records, rather than the band, that picked him.

He's kept a pretty low profile since the replacements split.

  • Yeah right. Sire picked a local Mpls guitarist familiar to the band...

Does that really make any sense?

  • Stinson should rejoin the replacements.

    He doesn't belong to gnr

  • he's dead.

  • tommy stinson is not dead

  • True, Tommy's not dead, but playing in Guns n Roses. As a result, I'm sure he prays for death that never comes to take him out of the torture that is backing up that botoxed, cornrowed, yet another reason I feel a certain shame to be from Indiana over, Axl Rose.

  • Isn't it your bedtime ashdude? It's true the replacements could have handled themselves better professionally, but at least they weren't overproduced pop-punk rip-off teen posterboys. They fought hard against that trash.

  • Pissed as a rat but he clearly knows what the song is about and honours the original.

Blink 182 have jollied it up and turned it into a teen love song. Quite clever on their part because romancing hard drug use is no longer cool and maybe they don't want to have a druggie image and are trying to be responsible as regards their young fans.

The original by The Only Ones is of course by far and away, no contest, the best version and must be one of the best druggie rock songs ever.

  • Wow, this show is perfect quality.

  • Guess you had to be there, kids. I feel sorry for you younger folks who didn't get to experience the 'Mats firsthand. EASILY the most underrated band of ALL TIME. They were so fucking REAL at a time when very little was (the 80's). I really don't like Blink182, but they seem sincere in their love for punk (even if they can't play it) and if they are, they worship the ground P. Westerberg walks on. Believe it.

  • I don't like Blink 182 and they're from my generation. I despise them. Your generation was better(I was merely born in 86).

  • I say the same thing about the 70's, man!

  • hey man angry666whatever has a right to his opinion however retarded or idiotic it may be

  • aw f*ck anyone who can't get down with the Replacemats! Jeez! Have we learned nothing!?!?

  • This is an Only Ones cover by the Replacements. and seriously, Blink182 couldnt carry Paul Westerberg's jock strap. I agree.

  • Blink 182 sucked

  • Admittedly, this is an inferior version of the song. But, seriously, Blink182 couldn't carry Paul Westerberg's jock strap. And they would be the first to admit it! How dare you call the Mats terrible. You obviously have never seen them live or listened to any of their music. And, you are most likely a 20-something dickhead who knows nothing. Sod off, wanker!

  • he's obviously joking. I mean, he has to be.

  • @BuckHill87 I'm a 20-something that knows nothing. However, I DO know that the 'mats are the greatest band of the last 30 years. A marvelous cover. . .however, not on this night. Live at U of Wis.? Fuck yes.

  • @BuckHill87 well put my friend!

  • Who said they were terrible? Leave your answer Buck on my ANSWERING MACHINE....I won't be satisfied til I hear your answer....

  • Just realize the Replacements were usually drunk and their studio versions make them the best band ever not this stuff . I know lost of mat fans love their drunk stuff, but it's nonsense. Sure every once in a while it might be fun or poignant or a riot. This is not one of their better songs so if you don't know the Replacements go to Let It Be or Tim to start ..

  • My all-time favorite band. God knows how many times I saw these fuckers back in the day. Unfortunately they were never big enough to merit the full-on concert film treatment, but these little snippets of the scream & drink suits the Mats better anyway. Miss u, boys.

  • The Replacements is active from 1979, blink 182 is from 1992.. The Replacements is a legacy.. don't make me laugh men:)

  • blink 182 have saved this song...ppfiuu!..replacements original song is shit man...don't you hear??

  • The Replacements didn't write it. Peter Perrett (of The Only Ones) did in the 1970s about his heroin addiction.

Jesus fucking Christ, get it right, people.

  • excuse me man..excuse me..calm and quiet next time..

  • That's the problem with the internet... we need a sarcastic button or something. Last part was supposed to be sarcasm, sorry. But yeah, the song's about heroin. Pretty sure the blink boys never did heroin...

  • Acc..i need a vocabulary..i m italian..but yeah..i didn't know the life of this man so i can't speak..i have talk about this song, not about peter parrett life..it seems youre his great fun so excuse me if i hurt you..

  • Blink was great but the mats where the last great rock band.Everyone else is the weak and pointless because they influenced them all. If you disagree fuck you...

  • Thank you. What is wrong with people? Comparing blink182 to the Mats is absurd. They were our Clash, but the "public" was too stupid to pick up on it.

  • @BuckHill87 Aren't you kind of glad though that, in a way, the public didn't pick up on the Mats? I make no apologies for being elitist here. They didn't belong to the mainstream and I really don't want some teenybopper with ADD being into them for a short time and tossing them aside like the used Kleenex their dads should've shot them into and saved us a lot of grief. "One foot in the door, the other one in the gutter."

  • nice.

  • Blink 182 can't hold a candle to the 'Mats.

  • what could have been... if only thed laid off the booze befor there shows... i want my money back

  • The Replacements like the Only Ones. Nice!

  • Paul Westerberg references Peter Perret in "seein her" as well.

  • Obviously drunk. Good work, not enough clips of the Replacements version on Youtube. :)

  • Their best song live, by far. Usually faster
