  • That looks like albuterol, not Flovent. Flovent comes in a red puffer, never seen a white one. My cat and I both use albuterol and Flovent.

  • Wow, your cat took the meds like a champ.

  • Wow, Rocky's such a good kitty taking his medicine with no fuss. It was a struggle to give my cat antibiotics after her spaying (preventative).

  • I never knew cats could have asthma, do they take the same things we humans do for our asthma? Is it the same dosage?

  • I saw a few different asthmatic cat videos, and yes, cats can be given Albuterol and Flovent, but I am not certain about the dosage.

  • The same dosage given to a cat would cause cardiac arrest and almost certain death.

  • Is this helping Rocky with the asthma? I believe my cat has it. Also, I think my friend's cat just died from an asthma attack. He couldn't breathe and past away in less than a minute and I half. I'm even more worried now for my kitty. He's having these episodes everday.

  • Rocky so good. I had ex-rays done but they don't show asthma but I also unerstand that the xrays won't rrove much until its advanced.

  • aww Rocky did a great job!

  • My baby Tuesday has chronic asthma. She started out with an inhaler using a chamber. Then she had to go to a nebulizer. Now we are back to her inhalers (albuterol & flovent) & only use the nebulizer when it's real bad. She was also diagnosed with early stages of kidney failure on 3/13/07. Sub-q fluids was not necessary till 3/23/08. Tuesday is aprox 17-18 yrs old. She is the love of my life...
