Actually, in the race they set the fastest lap of all time: a 3:19.394 so they could not have been doing that during qualifiying. Besides, I was there!!!

The car's behaviour is realistic, the difference is in the conditions the laps were made. I added quick tuning (+20% power, -10% weight), and I have the best tyres, which are much better than the real cars'. Also, since this is a game I can risk much more at some points.
And note that, since this is the old La Sarthe track, I don't have to brake for the 2 chicanes in the middle of the straight, I do that part flat-out, over 380kmh. In the new circuit, they lose more than 10 seconds only in that part of the track, compared to this old version.

This is arcade mode so no setup involved, only full quick-tuning and no driving aids.

You drove nice lines for damn near 100% of the lap. Only near the end did you seem to get caught out a little. Great lap.

This is the old Le Mans Track your idiots+ The 908 HDI did under 3:20 in Qualifying this year!

this is not very realistic. the 908's fastest lap this year was a 3.26
