  • It's a color home movie with the green make-up available for all to see. It photographed perfectly in black and white. And there's Jack Pierce; you can see that the color for this film was very accurate.

  • That's wonderful! Nice to see Boris Karloff in his most classic and thrilling role, with his friendly humor.

  • :34 is the good times

  • lol he keeps sticking his tounge out

  • Great, rare footage. It's very interesting to see the costume in color, but you can't even argue with the black and white classics that we have.

  • They made a great decision to shoot this movie in black and white. The color does not work. Check it out it is a great movie!!

  • The guy the monster surprises and tries to strangle at the end is Jack Pierce, the man who created the Frankenstein monster make-up.

  • this was taken from BORIS KARLOFF'S home movie collection..

  • Fun, Huh?

  • OMG!

  • RIP Boris Karloff

  • BOO!!!!

  • Happy Halloween!!!!

  • This is amazing!

  • @ironhandz1 And VERY Colorful!!!!

  • This is not a "color test" -- this is from a reel of 16mm home movies belonging to the Karloff family. There WAS a Technicolor test shot on the film but it's still hidden in some vault in New Jersey.
