  • I agree but we are suffering the direct and inevitable consequences of yesterday's brilliant solutions. Elsewhere he brings up the point that each genocide looks completely different. Now we have this 'green' revolution and all it will do is starve the 3rd world to death. What he wants (each year more salmon, trees, etc) is exactly what the bible talks about with post apocalyptic restored world, the new heavens and earth. "And the leaves of the trees will be for the healing of the nations."

  • @natmanprine 66 books penned by 40 guys on a span of 1500 years, in 3 languages, guys from all walks of life( from fishermen to kings), in 3 languages(Hebrew, Aramaic ,Greek, in varying cities and countries have this in common, they all point towards one person, , Jesus Christ, and if you were paying attention and are wise like i believe you are, you will reread and meditate, reflect on what i have written about the 66 books.Do you remember Jesus talking about a pearl of great price ?

  • with the one Who never sinned and with His standards of perfection and Justice...

That Book is the most loved and the most hated, the most sold and spread and it has supernatural staying power, it is one thing to be able to conduct your personal inquiries on a human level but truth at our level is humanistic and relativistic and has no resolution and no solid bandwidth, the Bible has been tampered with and hyjacked by many religiosities but the Truth in those

  • even with great cruelty, it denounces the things of man and what man does to man, it is clearly told as admonitions for the reader not to repeat the stupidity of the personages in the accounts, for our own benefit, God loves everyone as it is so clearly said in John 3:16, He gave His only Son for us all to have eternal life by merely believing in Him. It is not abou being a good person, none of us are, not if we compare ourselves

  • Bad stuff is in the Bible for the sake of transparency otherwise, if it had anything to hide, it would not be there hindering its progress, i can already assure you that all the excuses such as this one, not to read the Bible, i had them all but all my assumptions fell and i ended up holding that Book to my chest and treasuring it, if you do open up a Bible one day, you will understand what i mean, sin is exposed in the Bible,

  • To be saved one can also ask Jesus to be baptized with the Holy Spirit as Jesus advises in Luke 11:13 since John baptized conscious adults with water for repentance but told them that Jesus would baptize them with the Holy Spirit and with fire, it is a baptism that can only be given from above, to be born from above ie spiritually since the carnal person is dead in sin and transgressions until that person accepts Jesus as Lord and Savior, that person then becomes alive spiritually, in Christ...

  • is the underground, persecuted church of China that surpasses the western church altogether. So many will be without excuses. Now the criteria to go to Heaven is simple and the salvation message is this one in the Bible: that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.(Romans 10:9)

  • you know that you know, the message is being preached to all nations even as far north as The Inuit tribes and in Siberia by a man named Bill Pranckard from Ottawa, Canada, when he got up north, the inuits had crosses in their cemetery but did not know the name of the God associated with those crosses, Bill told ‘em and at any rate, the Bible is so overwhelmingly present in the world that the biggest church today

  • i’ve been studying the Bible for the last 3 and a half years, yes, i believe hindus, muslims or atheists have the potential of ending up in hell and the disaster is that they will end up there willingly if they have been preached and rejected the Truth, OTOH, if they have not been preached, i know the Lord appears in visions and dreams to muslims, Africans, Indians and Indonesians as we speak and i know that the Holy Spirit of God is very convincing, you know when He speaks to your heart

  • Many seculars make the mistake of seeing the Bible as a book of religion, in great part due to the fact that this book was hijacked by man made religions but in fact, the Bible is more like a love letter from the Father, written in the blood of His own Son, to each and every one of those that will come in His family by not having been afraid of the Truth

  • on the personal level violence is toxic. when within a violent system it may be that you are forced to use violence to overcome that system. our 'everyday lives' are not peaceful even though we think we move through our days peacefully. a lot of people had to be exploited of killed RECENTLY (not just the past) so that i could, for example, be sitting at this computer, leaving this comment. i want out. i want to live with honor, and reconnect with my origin, and destiny. also, this is love.

  • Violence has its place indeed...saw Derrick speak in Hamilton, bought his book and have been tuned in since. We must stop the staus quo

  • I remember in 1986 hearing a professor in College saying that the next religion was going to be the environment, when i hear something as stupid as "mother nature" and eco-friendly or green energy, it makes me sick to my stomach because these are the false gods of these deceived minds that will enable the NWO to suck us dry with carbon tax for breathing, oh well, the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back soon, not many are ready...As in the days of Noah...Jesus said

  • @Serge1965 egocentric people, you see reflections of yourselves all around you, in a hall of mirrors.

I see you as a troubled human being, as am I.

    That is my reflection.

    On the matter.

  • @natmanprime i see mother nature as a stinkin' terrorist that kills her animals, do i make more sense to you now? We are under a curse since the fall of man, oh yeah, i know, i am weak and thick because i believe the creation account, right? we are all in need of redemption pal, it is not me being right versus you being wrong, i got nothing against you or anyone else for that matter, it is only a matter of loving the truth that is beyond both of us and letting the evidence bring us to the truth

  • @Serge1965 did I say you don't make sense?

Did I say you were weak and thick?

Did I say we're not in need of redempton?

Did I say it's a matter of me being right and you being wrong?

that's an awful lot of rationalisation.

Did you know the ego is a rationalisation?

That's why I called you egocentric.

I see you as a someone who is troubled.

    That's why i said so.

Here's my reflection: truth is based on honesty, not the other way round.

  • @natmanprime I could very well be what you assume i am but i am not egocentric, i think of others and i would say thank you for seeing me as troubled, i don't see myself as having it all figured out yet but one thing for sure that i have found out is that Truth is Absolute and far from being relativistic and i would even add that Truth has a Name: Jesus Christ, He said: I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no man comes to the Father but by me (John 14:6) Oh maybe you think you've got it cted

  • @natmanprime all figured out in life and you reasoned within yourself that you can make pronouncements on people you don't even know, but hey, you have a nice day sir and Jesus bless you reaal goood!

  • @Serge1965 did you not make pronouncements on me? (see list of rationalisations above)

and here's another one: you pronounce I'm all figured out in life.

Did i not say I was troubled? (see my first comment to you)

Now, 'egocentricity' according to Freud(who coined the term), is not selfishness, but seeing everything in terms of status. 'Ego' isn't your 'self', it's your 'status'.

In other words, it's an abstract thing, made up between people.

You care about folk's 'status' with God, see?

  • @natmanprimeThen i will make an observation, it looks complicated at outrance to be you and sad to be relying on man's words(Idiotic and deceived Freud) as basis for understanding other human beings and yourself included, upon the reasoning of a fallable mind such as his, i might then be egocentric as you say and i base my reality from a Higher authority than mine or ...Freud, i mean there are better criterias of evaluating reality than stinkin' Freud's observations for instance...

  • @Serge1965 there may indeed be better criteria, no doubt...

but, even though the bible is infallible, how do you know the right way to interpret it?

Here's the thing: you're suffering, and you're looking for the word of god to help you. So read it DIRECT. Not through the interpretation of some church or another church. They'll leave pieces out, read it one way or another etc.

That's all. I'm not here to tell you how to live, just to take your own advice, don't take it through a preacher

  • @natmanprime That is where mankind errs, the Bible is infallible and the only way to interpret Scripture is to let Scripture interpret Scripture ie to practice an exegesis, letting the spiritually discerned Word speak out to you without reading in.things in it that are not there. I read litterally what it says and when i encounter a metaphor, a prose or poetry, i understand that the message still conveys a litteral truth or admonition. Mainly, what i do before every reading session, cted

  • @natmanprime i pray and i ask my Teacher, the Holy Spirit of God to give me a teachable spirit and i let Him teach me, that way, i avoid countless human heretical views in all kinds of fields of study such as the study of Israel or the study of the Church(people, not buildings nor denominational labels btw) Am i suffering? In this flesh, you bet but i was made free by Christ and i wish i would have started my personal relationship with Him more than just 3 years ago, i feel i missed out on lots

  • @Serge1965 So I assume you've read the bible all the way though?

do you believe hindus and muslims and atheists are going to hell?

what is the criteria for going to heaven?

what do you make of all that bad stuff in there?

  • @natmanprime i have been studying the Bible for the last 3 and a half years yes, i believe hindus, muslims or atheists have the potential of ending up in hell and the disaster is that they will end up there willingly if they have been preached and rejected the Truth, OTOH, if they have not been preached, i know the Lord appears in visions and dreams to muslims and Africans, Indians and Indonesians as we speak, the message is being preached to all nations even as far north as The Inuit cted

  • k9a2g6 -

Derrick Jensen is sharing his ideas to keep that from happening. Notice how he says we need to start DISMANTELING things as we know it, instead of waiting for it to collapse. Collapse is always more violant and catastrophic than deconstructing what was once constructed.

  • Just think for a moment,if Derrick's vision came true ,we would be witness to the greatest Genocide of all time.get real Derrick and look beyond your vision

  • there should only be 5 videos for this interview.

  • I wish I knew what to do to bring down the system, but I have no idea where to start. Nobody will listen to me when I tell them that we can't live like this forever- violating the natural laws. But it seems everyone is so entrenched in the system's ideas that only time will formulate a revolution, a revolution that is not pretty or easy, but one where billions die from starvation, one where the world is a hellish place, and one where we will say "Why didn't we stop it?"

  • Don't worry, it is about to start coming down all by itself. There is no need for revolution -- just wait, and prepare for difficult economic times.

Don't listen to Jensen. This guy will only make things far worse. Read Rob Hopkins or John Michael Greer.

  • what people get caught up on, is that they think it is a fight, a fight between oil use and no oil or sustainable oil use. if the oil users could see exactly what they are doing then they would changed. these people isolate themselves from the problems by further oil use. they do not interact with the things that are suffering. if they started out understanding how important the world is they would not have shit on it. if the peole who are killing the earth do not stop then theres no hope.

  • why because he has a opinion?

  • This system must end, and we will end it.

  • So do I my friend - so do I. Fortunately I can express it.

  • It's not just for the warriors that the call is made. We need places for our tired to rest, gardens to feed our hungry, communities to engender joy. This is the grand project; it is all too easy to charge the ramparts; there is nothing to lose, no home to return to. Building a home to return to out of the ashes of our world, that is our calling. Our redemption. Without these places, any efforts will fail. Rediscover the sacred places, recreate community, bond with brother, neghbor, sea and land.

  • resource-based economy. all human creativity will be used to manage the earth resources for the well-being of everyone. this will accelerate the standard of living for all human beings, including the richest elite. since, if you allow your life to improve only if it makes the corrupt system which ruins the planet to go on, you're fighting against natural laws. and in that we'll lose.

  • We are in an airplane heading for a huge wall, the pilots are not changing course. We are all going to die.

But remember during 9/11, United Airlines flight 93 ? Passengers finally stormed the cockpit perhaps resulting in the crash of the airplane in a Pennsylvania forest and not on a nuclear power plant.

    Get the metafor right ?

Time is running out, time to head for the cockpits, let's roll !

  • ...we'll don't participate in anything anymore . stop paying taxes, do handshake agreements, scrap your car get of the E-grid .... ditch your TV don't get any licenses for anything.... work only for food and clothes, stop using Govt services and be one of the 1st of 4 billion that will die in 2 generations that the elites wants rid of.

  • I believe these cities should be destroyed, kill the young and weak.

  • you cant speak to people about any change. You cant even talk to your family and friends. You can easily get into fights, just by saying corporate facism, and then quote roosevelt quickly,or get socked. Its fukn sik,no,lets just die peacefully, ive always wanted to die,im so happy, and everyday i hope bush sent his little guys,2 to the head 3 to the chest, teehee

  • NO one is goign to follow you in taking the system down unless truly sustainable alternatives have been created and are replicable and demonstrable (very important work), In fact maybe once this is possible, it will be so attractive and logical that nothing has to be taken down, and the system will be abandon. either way, no one jumps of the ship without at least a life boat they can count on.

  • Guess what? Physical force works, thats why the "powers that be" use it. Do you think indigenous people just give up their land and way of life voluntarily? Did the african slaves come over to america for fun? If you read Mr Jensens books you would understand that. It makes alot of sense. And we can't let our tactics be dictated and limited for us by our oppressors.

  • eigh38s you are just an under edjucated retared who is cofused on what he can do. You dont need to blow somthing up to make change. Words are a powerful, language. so learnd some english or some other forum of language. You said the answer kind of in the paragragh 2 sentences below me, Something about inforuming. Dur dee dur. You dont always have to be violent. NOt at the wrong time at least. Kind of like how you can blame every cops for being a pig. You got to attack the system with truth.

  • words are only strong for so long until they become repetitive and irrelevent to those you speak them to. violence is an effective means, if done with precision and professionalism for a positive cause.

but i think the time is soon to use this method, because we are where we are because our relatives were passive and submitted to the government and allowed them to trample on everyones rights and go off and start war.

now we are here, at this time and know.

    there are no accidents.

  • good, but lets not be passive, for the sake of future generations to come.

  • @powerslave71 Molotovs at midnight!

  • We are on your side Derrick. I want out of civilization just as bad as you do, but I am growing weaker by the day. I don't have any solid ideas on what to do about this death machine.

  • i do, i know how to break the system.

give me a pm if you are serious i need one person

  • That's nice Derrick, but the system can't be stopped that way. If I blow up something, the media will say it's "Terrorist" and maybe declare Martial law! All we can do is inform as many Americans as possible then "hope" for some kind of spark to start a revolution. Which probably wont happen. All these porblems we come up with, but have no real solutions for. We have to start something like Fight Club. I don't fucking know! All I know is they're still building dams around the world as we speak.

  • Bravo!

  • I've been thinking and reading about this for a long time now and I have to say of all the activists, writers, scientists, etc. involved on this side of the issues, Jensen is by far the most inspiring, articulate, and fully aware individual I have encountered. It will be the people who are willing to take those first steps of direct action, those first steps of clear and unflinching resistance that will be the vanguard necessary to begin the change.

  • Amen, brother.

Until Jensen, I had never encountered anyone who I could, with complete faith, allow to represent me. His arguments are cogent, he's well-spoken, he's extremely knowledgeable, and he's not afraid to tell things how they are.

I thank him for removing from me the burden of having to figure out how to explain my worldview to those close to me, and for doing a better job of it than I could have ever hoped to.

Now I can focus my efforts on gathering the like-minded and building a team

  • the whole world needs to see this video.

  • great stuff. but what order to you watch them in?

  • The Third Alternative! excellent intention.., perhaps they are from another 'world' or dimension,. inorganics.

We do need it all,. I just have to find a way to fund some of this good work. Where are the eco-sain buisnesses? where is there a car free city,. or an eco village to live in while fighting these beings?

  • Absolutely correct. People don't question the system itself.

  • and that is the all-pervasive matrix 'courtesy' of hollywood, tv, mass tvtrickery media!

but there was a time I DID NOT KNOW ABOUT Permaculture. so this experience , i try to keep hope and paiteience that when people do know. about the trickery of the mass media, and about permaculture and the URGENCY that they will begin to seriously listen, then do
