  • 135? cmon... a harley sportster can do more...

  • @hotwhells20 pmsl! haha

  • haha ! You lot make me laugh! Alll you comments are more interesting than the actual video!...hahaha!....

  • my vn2000 will top at 148-150 granted this is on salt flats but not sure 130 is that good

  • whatch 1:40 what a lier.... yeah i bet he could spin a tire 130mph...

  • alot of people get confused with the cc as though it represents how fast a bike can go, 2000 cc is pretty big but all that really means is how much force is going forward, for example a high cc bike can tow cars up hills, that kinda force, id say HP is more relevant to top speed, without the power to weight ratio, that cc means pretty little with speed. that said, my VN900 got 125mph comfortably restricted to 33 bhp the other day. and pulls like a tank. at 289kg its pretty light too.

  • ive had my 900 custom for a year its stock and all i can get is 105 mph how do i go faster

  • not entirely sure why theres such a top end difference in our bikes tbh. prob due to the fact im a skinny short ass = less wind resistance haha. but to answer your question, a hypercharger or a barons BAK air filter will help performance, The stock vulcan is a little asthematic as the filter is bad. also, the vulcan could do with a sixth gear, so to compensate a little for it only having 5, try and stay in each gear for longer, it wont sound as nice but then again cruisers arnt built for speed.

  • @MrJames2340 buy custom exhaust pipes, kuryakyn hypercharger, dynojet jetkit or cobra FI 2000 for Fi Models, race camshaft, rac custom transmission, and etc

  • I set the P-PP 2000 record at bonneville at 145.048,set with a Harley-Davidson CVO Dyna, with the same salt conditions 3 weeks after this Run.

So the Bonneville record is held by a Harley-Davidson; American made.

  • ok thats great but the vulcan engines i ve heard are made in USA.The Vulcan is a great bike i love it

  • Your right about the Vulcan being a good bike.

The thing is I look at the Pushrod Classes at Bonneville as "Old School", and to me the Vulcan just don't fit the bill.

  • 60 percent of you hardley davids daughter are foreign made rooster23

  • 135... Ha! A sportbike with half the engine size will do almost twice that! And in half the time!

  • I am 6"4" 288lbs, add 130lbs for my wife and another 50lbs for gear. Your sport bike with half the engine wouldn't make it out of the driveway. .

  • must have a short driveway from your doublewide

  • only 145?

I have had pillion rides faster than that!!

  • 135 ---I do that once a week on my daily comuter V2k ---best speed so far was 148 clocked by DPS(friend,no ticket)All stock-and still gets 40plus MPG

  • me to! My old VTX1800 would do that..... the salt must really pull them down or something. 135 shouldnt be anything on a bike, espesialy a 2000cc bike!

  • as a big twin owner myself......go V2k

  • Nice I was there back in August.

  • How about the 2008 Hayabusa and ZX-14 at Bonneville?

  • ya no one cares about slow mobile valcun!

  • Thanks, but come on seriously, motousa will have more subscribers if they show the people what they want to see. Very fast bikes, reviews, fast pace, custom work, and the PUBLIC ! ! ! We want to see the people who own the motorcycles, we want to see the parts, the stories, the drama. If you want i will be your spokes person.

  • But do not get me wrong, you do a good job at telling a story, but you guys are missing something. Action, pop, adrenaline.

    Hunter.

  • shutup
