@Kathy0851 well the thing is, when God chooses a prophet to appear among a specific "people", that means it is somewhere where it is urgent. eventhough prophets have brought messages to mankind in general, there is a pattern that can be noticed. for example Noah and Lot, see the pattern there? so dont be suprised that even after islam, arabs (and countries influenced by arabic cultures) have a hard time letting go of their barberic practises. imagine that there was a time they were worse!
