I really like Davidoff cigars my favorite is the Double R. The cost of them are pricey as hell though.:(

There are good alternatives... try a Cuvee or even a Chateau Real... Even some perdomo with CT shade.

It is a bit pricey but, yes, I believe a beginner would enjoy this cigar. It would not be too strong.
