For some reason people think they have ownership over the genre and suddenly the cool thing is to hate on Skrillex. Brostep could easily be a viable genre, as it's not dubstep, just music listened to by lax bros that they can hear perfect on their little harman kardon computer speakers. Yes, dubstep is evolving... but it evolved into a NEW GENRE. So his shit ISNT dubstep.

@RExVENGE what pisses me off is that when new genres get big these "Record executives" force these artists to channel there sound a certain way like in dubstep all the commerical dubstep producers songs sound the same euphoric sounding song bass and a wobble drop (i.e.chase and status). its happens with every genre like garage (i.e. so solid crew & dane bowers & all that bullshit) and drum & bass (pendulum) where the sound is watered down or changed to suit the mainstream audience.

But with the economy changing, like people downloading cuz they have no money, the music industry isnt doing as well as it was in the 90's and even mid 2000's. With shit going the way it is though, I dont blame him, but going that far is too controlling to me.
