yep! I recommend getting any game other than HL2, It's not bd, but gmod already comes with HL2 stuff, so if u get TF2, u get that stuff AND HL2 stuff

I reccomend Counter Strike, TF2 doens't add as much, and you need CSS for a lot of models and materials, and maps.

Half life isn't half bad for gmod, its better than portal, because you can download all the portal props and stuff.
