lil jon is the man, much respect. but seriously, still carrying around an mpc2000 just for the sequencer! thats so lame, I know why you still use the mpc, its got the swing function that people claim doesn't sound the same in the software. but it really depends on what software you use. so I suggest you get educated in some software sequencers and leave the mpc2000 alone. get a neko with drum pads and you have something much better than an mpc.

you don't HAVE to use the mpc. You CAN use any software sequencer, and install it right on the miko - it runs windows. Reason, Cubase, even Fruity Loops all work fine. PLUS you can rewire any of the native sounds into any software sequencer you're using.

pro tools technically is a sequencer...personally tho...i sequence through my MPC...even for virtual instruments...ive NEVER been a fan of DAW sequencing with the exception of maybe logic but still...the MPC is the way to go in my opinion
