leave the handle on yhe knife until you get the basic shape,then,either clip the handle off with bolt cutters,or a hacksaw..

i use aviation snips to clear away excess thin steel @

i think that short key is for cash registers but i am not sure i have something like that and was told by my buddy that gave it to me that its for like late 80s early 90s cash registers but i could be wrong and he is a tweeker so i dont really listen to him when he talks

how do u trace a paper template?

there are a few ways...you can trace them directly off your screen,if you dont have a printer..otherwise print them out with a laserjet printer,cut them out,and you can iron them on i think "blackpowderman has a vid on that...good luck.

that master over ride key is for the master combination locks with the key holes in the back it opens all of them

its actually a 0000 cut. back then i didnt know the difference,and was told it was some sort of override key...(i wish.)i have since learned

0000 cut? i dont know what that is or why its appropriate, (used for bumping?) guess i'll read up to find out about this. i seen vids where people say you can make picks from hacksaw blades but i never seen anybody make them from knives before, looks pretty good imo, any reason as to why you use knives instead of hacksaw blades? are the handles comfortable?

a 0000 is the opposite of a bump key which is generally the DEEPEST (9999) cut.

it is just the four shallowest cuts in a row.

(almost a blank.)

hacksaw blades SUCK. they are far too brittle,snap often,(usually inside a lock)

and are ok in a pinch, but i would never use them if it could be avoided.

stainless steel is by FAR the superior material,and will last a lifetime,if made and used properly,& yeah the handle. are comfy.

master over ride keys, i think they are used to open a specific lock, usually padlocks, but im pretty sure you cant use for like a door handle or something, hope this helped, but im not completely sure. and buddy, you get a BIG FAT SUB =P
