The boss battle with the damn Elephant, god I never played the SNES version of DK3 but on the GBA I didn't know what to do and I swear I was stuck on that one for like a month for not knowing what to do.

The beef I have with this games is that when you score a hit on a boss, it doesn't feel like you actually did. Like, if a successful hit had a nice "Thwak!" sound effect, it'd feel better. Instead, we get bosses like Barbos where it's a stupid "pnkk." and no real satisfaction that I hurt it. That, and I hate how northern this game is. Setting-wise, I mean. Stuff like that bugs me.

Who the fuck laughs when they get hit? lol And really does anyone find it strange that Bad Mr. Frosty's distant cousin's weakness is a snowball? That's like throwing fire at a monster made out of magma. My guess is it didn't really hurt him and he was laughing at your attempts to hurt him. He laughed so hard he ended up having a seizure in the process.

A lot of these bosses were creepy and the music made them even creepier.

I remember Barbos as the most annoying boss. First time I played I was like ''how are you supposed to hit that? how the hell can I win this?'' then my cousin showed how Barbos was supposed to complete. God, I remember being amazed and yelling ''no way! this has three phases!?!'' :D

I love how most of the times, the object the bosses are, aren't really scary, but the atmosphere makes it so terrefying. This is probably the only game, that can make a barrel look scary O__O
