you know how Zack doesn't like some driver's seats don't go low enough, my complaint about cars is the lack of centre storage / console in some economy cars. They should come standard rather than a pathetic armrest.
Headroom is lacking for someone 6 feet or greater, had my head sticking out the sunroof with the seat as far down as possible. Knee room is also lacking, door pockets dig into the legs.
@MotormouthCanada: you seem to have made a mistake. The engine options are a 1.8 litre naturally aspirated in-line 4 cylinder, and a 1.4 litre turbocharged of the same cylinder count. There is no 1.6 litre turbocharged motor in the GM North American line up.
Also, the Kia Rio does have hard plastics on the dash, not soft touch like the Ford Fiesta.
Stop bragging about Kia. They're automotive penalty box cars and that's all they'll ever be. dislike. The Sonic is a great car. Koreans can go fuck themselves for all I car.
@Z34teen Listen, I love GM, but remember Deawoo (a korean car company)? Ya, it got integrated into GM and they are the ones behind the Cruze and the Sonic... so this is Korean technically, but build in the US of A...

You said 1.6 which is wrong, it is a 1.4 with the turbo. The 1.4 turbo manual also gets 30 city 40 hwy mpg, rather than 25/35 with the 1.8 auto.Only car with a turbo in its class. Also forgot to mention that traction control and 10 air bags are standard, which puts this car at the top. Also it is assembled right here in the USA, which keeps our money here instead of sending it to japan. Been following this car for months at sonicownersforum I will be getting one soon. Bye to my 12mpg GMC :(
I like this car...it can be a good second car use for around the city and work. Still thinking if this will be more better than the 2012 Kia Rio. I find both economical and really attractive...gotta test drive them both soon...so many new sub-compact cars...so hard to decide.
for 20K it should come with more stuff
