i have brought a resin AOD MSd doll in white,My 1st doll....wooo hooo and I am waiting for her to arrive. I am trying to find out exactly what Mr Super clear is ?
We have a product here that is called Helmar Crystal kote, it is a fixative and workable mat (meaning you can apply layers like the way you do a face up...is this any good ? or same thing as Mr Super clear.?

If you arn't already on DoA, join and you can find a BUNCH of alternatives that work well enough. MSC is reported as the best, but there are alternatives if you can't get MSC. Just remember: No Oil and No Acetone.
But yeah, DoA is the best place to go to ask about alternatives! ^^ And if in doubt, spray a little bit on the headcap, where it will be hidden by the wig, to see if there is any negative effects on the resin. all resin is diffrent and can react differently.
well there are a few really trusted sites in the states but store wise you have volks usa that sells there own spray online best bet is junkyspot the owner is friendly and really supportive of the arts people pour into their works
You have to buy MSC online if your in pretty much any country, from what i know. But yeah, Junkyspot is the best place i know of to get it. And i suggest getting the 3 pack, just incase it disappears because of a shortage or something (has seen reports from previous years where its almost impossible to find MSC cause its outta stock everywhere.)
you use msc to seal and protect your doll before you start painting and blush work it can be sprayed normally 2-3 times in light layers in a open place normall outside to door this is to protect your lngs and that so where a mask
