it's kind of true about lesbians being like straight men. My parents are lesbians and between them they are a very butch man's man. Whereas I am the faggot of the family and don't know how to use any of the power tools that they have in the garage.
thats quite interesting actually, what Margaret shared about her father and how he chose to raise them ... in many ways, she's like a time capsule of an era in America's history ... ... where AAs of my generation also had to deal with the 'self hate' issue ... fortunately the next generation has it easier given the rise of the Asian nations in this century ...
that's strange her mom and dad didn't want to teach the kids their mother tongue.. i think that's sad, IMHO, b/c language (especially mother languages) are sacred... just me i guess.. good interview though, i liked this
Great interview! As long as I've been a fan, I've never heard her talk about her dad not having an accent and her parents not teaching her and her brother Korean. I've heard that a lot about Mexican immigrants not wanting their children to speak Spanish, and I know people for whom that is the case. Again, GREAT CLIP!! I love Margaret!!
I saw that video with the black strippers and I thought the same thing. lol My gaydar was going crazy when BAM-BAM came on! lol The dancers were hot though-BIG FUCKERS!
