  • I have stumbled upon DietOramy diet regimen (you can find it on Google) - that diet plan is really sensational, I 'm definitely not starving myself and I am continually losing extra weight - the key is in unique variants of food, just not in calorie consumption...

  • @muhaha67 I've tried it but didn't worked :( Now I am using the diet plans on WeightLossAction.Info and I'm glad because it worked great for me! I loss a lot of fats in just 2 weeks.

  • @jacktoze59 that's all water weight. It doesn't count unless it's more than 5lbs, whether you're losing or gaining, your water weight is always the first 5lbs or so

  • It's not as simple as this for some people. Some people are indeed a certain BMI but a BMI of 20 is not the same for everyone. Some people have more body fat than muscle despite being the same weight as someone else of the same height. So in order to reduce fat and replace it with muscle some people need to alter their macronutrient ratios, switch from high carb to high protein with some fat, etc. No matter what diet anyone is on phyonutrients are important, eating alot of vegetables is the best

  • I have been doing spinning class 5 days a week for 45 minutes. I am 5'3 and 145lbs and carry most weight in my butt and hips is spinning the best way to lose weight or will i build more muscle?or should i just stick with the treadmill...so confused..any info would be greatly appreciated :)

  • @charlienailsandhair there is a link on the BMR page to another website! You can also just google bmr calculator and a bunch should just pop up

  • sara ive been trying to lose weight im 5"4 and a half 155 lbs but i have a really wide bone structure so im not too tooo flabby. however i really want to lose weight so i started running and lifting a little and drinking PROTEIN ISOLATE drink after my gym. is that the right thing? im afraid i might get tooo wide and bulky even more! :( HELP ME?

  • @youdreamer921 Make sure you are running in intervals, and you don't need protein isolate unless you are working over 2 hours. If it's snack time when you finish your workout that's a great snack but not necessary if you are not hungry and losing weight is your goal. Keep it under 200 calories.

  • hey sarah- your college bmr doesnt' let you enter an age under 20. i know the difference between 18-20 may not be a big deal, but just letting you know, you probably shouldn't aim that specific calculator at an 18 year old:)

  • @helllox21194 I added another website that will give you the info if you're younger however, I don't feel as though it's as accurate :( I'll keep looking though.

  • hey im in college , and i live in a dorm with no kitchen, so it's really hard because my choices are so limited, I usually eat oatmeal for breakfast, celery and peanut butter for a snack, and a salad and turkey sandwhich for dinner, Also a GREAT thing to eat for a sweet craving is apples and peanut butter they have that at the cafeteria :) Thats basically all that's healthy at the cafeteria ,lol it's sad.

  • The calculators are a great starting point, but not very scientific or exact in their measurements. Even though everyone hates doing it, they should just measure all their calorie intake for a week and analyze the average and trends and then cut out the calories from there, between 200-500 calories, whatever you're aiming for. Naw mean?

  • if a person is exercising and is eating way to few calories .. can that person lose weight very slowely because of the low amount of calories??

    if that person would eat lets say 1500 instead of 800cal would that person lose more weight?

  • @faintsunrise 800 calories is way too low for anyone to be consuming. Your body is not functioning at it's full capacity. If you up your calories (good calories) most likely you'll be able to burn more in the long run, maybe not right away but eventually.

    No. If you're using up more calories than you take in, weight loss is the result.

  • I was wondering the same thing. I've noticed that sometimes when I eat too little, my weight goes up. I think it's something to do with metabolism. When you don't eat enough calories during the day, when you do eat, your body stores it because it thinks you're starving.

  • @pandacakes03 I think if you don't consume enough for a long enough period of time your body goes into starvation mode and holds on to anything you may eat because it doesn't know when you'll be getting food again.

  • Depends of what you mean there, you should eat many times a day (4 or 5 times) and a small quantity per meal, if you spend too much time without eating, the organism will fear you'll do that again so it will store everything you consume on the meal you eat after many hours which will result into fat stocking or the called weight gain

  • My advice: WALK WALK WALK...like everywhere. I get out from the bus at the fardest stop on my campus and walk, rain,shine, snowstorm...lol..i just walk. It really does to a deference! and obv eat well :)
