Great film! Was a bit bummed to find out Eugene was a bit of a dick to the director Pavla. So what if she had a crush on him, he could have been cooler about it. Lost a bit of respect for him, but overall loved it! The visit to the gypsy camp was the best. What a passion for music!

well as much as I love Eugene and his band it's a pretty boring movie whichever way you look at it, but I do love the part where he visits the Romany town, the old guy getting on an old guitar to show him (Eugene) how to play real gypsy is a classic, very beautiful. And when he gets knocked down by the State Gypsy King Orchestra and takes it in his stride.... well that's why we love the guy, he means it and is for real
