I love Sean Young and she is 52 but still quite beautiful and talent. I felt sorry that she was arrested because she did not have ticket and trying to get it on "Oscar phoony night party". She is very honest about herself. I bet if was that spagetti arm Jollie trying to sneak in would be no problem at all. I am so sick of the Oscar every year are the same boring celebrities faces. Give Sean Young a chance too Hollywood assroles.

She really is a fine actress. She had some bad experiences with the Head Honchos at a major studio and she did get blacklisted. Sometimes it doesn't pay to speak your mind in Hollywood. SHe still looks pretty, I loved her in BladeRunner. She was drop dead gorgeous back then.

Agree 100% on her comments about Hurt Locker. The movie was well-made and I enjoyed it, but the ending and Renner's character were designed to make the military cool and attractive to kids and that killed it for me. There was definitely an agenda behind the attention it got.

It's hard to say whether Hurt Locker glamorizes war but I thought it was a bit overrated and unrealistic in places.

By the way, she's not being hypocritical because she's never been in a proper war film like Hurt Locker, Dune was fantasy and Stripes was a comedy that was set in the military. Even if she had been, she's just an actress and actresses often have to take what they're offerered, whereas directors like Kathryn Bigalow choose their projects and are much more involved with them than the actors.
