  • Ok , I think I have it, first three are Gmin7 C7 Fmaj 7 and then so on up the neck.

    These patterns are so cool and so easy to finger (the way you do it), takes just a few minutes to just about master them.

    I guess this would be a major progression, could you also call it a I IV VII ? But I realize that probably isn;t right......

    This really makes sense about jazz as an overview, I play different styles but now can mess around some ahd have fun with it.....

  • @riverstrat No, you can't call it a "I IV VII." In the key of F, the "I" is F. If the music starts on the ii, then it's starts on the ii, not on the I.
