My father died of one. We first found out about it when he collapsed while shopping with my mom. He couldn't remember that my mom was his wife and that I was his son. eventually, his right side was paralyzed and his throat shut down so we couldn't feed him. His skin was all blue when he died. I'm sad he's gone, but I'm overjoyed that he doesn't have to suffer anymore.
Sorry to hear that too , my grandmother died a couple months ago of an astrositoma and i can tell , that that bloody things are mean damn , se how it eats a person , is really bad , at my granmother age is hard to do something like a surgery , but well , imo Brain Tumors arent a death sentences if there are in places with acces , if not , is kinda hard to say it .
My brother at the age of 34 died of a grade 4 brain tumour. He lasted 2 years with that damn thing in his head. I hate tumors. To day is his first anniversary. There is always hope, but watching them die slowly through fits, memory loss and wasting is so hard to cope with. My father died from one also 20 years ago at 43 years old. At the moment, i am free of it, as there is no heritage that passes via blood. Up to a grade 3, there is always a chance. At a grade 4, the chances are slim :(
There is a laser technology for tumor ablation that is of benefit to some; if you contact them they will have neurosurgeons look at your films and decide whether this treatment might be applicable. Go to visualaseinc
A Brain tumor is NOT a death sentence, but SOMETIMES the treatments have BAD side effects. Depending on where the tumor is (which brain lobe, how deep it lies, what they might have to cut through to get to it, etc...) I have known people that have surgery and end up coming out with almost NO side effects, but I've also know people that have ended up unable to swallow at all (not their own spit, or food/drink) and completely unaware of one side of their body (hemineglect).
I'm terribly sorry about your little brother. I can understand the pain of people who couldn't do anything to help a relative who was affected by a tumor, especially a brain tumor.
But we also have to say that medicine has done really big steps in the last times.
We have to trust science. It's hard, it's very hard, but we have: that's for the future. That's for life.
@jessikagurl101 awww, i fuckin hate cancer, taking the lives of our babies and other ppl. i so wish they could find cures for this crazy shit, god bless ur little bro
my friend has recently found out that she has a tumor in her brain..i dont know much about brain tumors and have been searching through the internet as much as possible..the main thing im trying to find out is if she's going to survive through this
i had brain surgey in 07 and thank god because i thought i was going crazy form all the side affects. the tumor was in the left temporal lobe and about an inch in diameter. I hada very attentive ear doctor who told me my ear ache was not the problem, to go get MRI
My Step grandad died 30 years old Of a tumor in his bow it was a big one and my nan still thinks of him every day and still cant stop thinkin about him :( *crys*
yeah sorry about that my little sis of 2 years old died by a tumor...... i miss her so much in know how you feel.... but life goes on you cant stop its hard but its a fact... peace man
i wish i had paid attention to the warning signs ie,headaches.i left it too late & now i am disabled.cell phones gave me my Brain Cancer with out doubt.fitnesssavedmylife(dot)com..
I am not going to debate this with any one as the facts are louder than words.fact is fact.
Or it could simply mean you have kids. ;) Headaches happen for lots of reasons. Recurring headaches happen from recurring reasons. If you have a habit of not drinking enough water you'll get headaches from dehydration on a regular basis. I would see a doctor about any series that you can't get rid of. Not because it has to be cancer, but because it might be cancer, and it is certainly an inconvenience.
u gotta be kiddin me been 4 whole weeks that i had headaches none stop and they dont go away when i wake up theyre there until i go to sleep next day the same thing though im only 14 u sure its brain cancer cuz ure getin me scared though i could go on with my life its just that at times it hurts bad at times its just a small pain
i wanna know the same thing been 4 weeks since i had headaches they start in the morning and well they stay till i go to sleep and when i wake up they come back and its everyday dont no whats the prob
