I know the feeling you guys have. I had it when I fed MY turtle his first minnows. Although, I'm a big animal lover and it did make me feel funny. I guess it's better then what they were going though in the pet store though. I started a breeding school on Saturday so I don't have to keep buying more. I saw some eggs in one of he minnows today and I'm so excited. Woot! Anyway, this is a lot more enriching to the turtle and gives them something to once and a while. Nice vid. =D

This is cruelty, and do go on about " Oh this is what happens in the nature...and bla bla..." At least in wild, fish can swin away and run. I feed my turtles on fresh fish fillets,fruits, vegetables and dry food. I really don't like people taking pleasure in seeing a defenceless goldfish being torn apart still alive. It's really sad and not normal

morons. they have compassion. I appluad them for taking such good care of the turtles. They eat food like this in the wild all the time. this stimulates the turtles and gets them moving!! The only thing I'd suggest is get a bigger tank so they have more of a challenge. well done. it's good to see owners actually taking care of their pets!

i have 2 turtles, male eastern painted and female western painted. They are adorable. I remember when they were little and I gave them fish for the first time, i must have had 5 or 6 lungs left floating. taught me not to get to big fish that they could not swallow whole. What kind of turtles are these in the video? they are cute. Good luck.

Awesome video. You have RES, and whats the other one? I have 2 RES, a male and female. They love hunting rosy red minnows, lots of fun to watch. Its a fun treat I try to give them at least once a week. Thanks for posting, how large is your tank?

these turtles are beautiful, feed them turtle pellets as well to give them all the nessacary vitamins they need but wont get from live fish.

4. Live fish introduces the risk of parasites, and goldfish are crap feeders as they are.
