  • Hi im joining cadets in Gravesend near london and it looks fun are those guns real or blanks thanks

  • how often do you guys get to do this sort of stuff? cos i really want to do it but im an air cadet :L

  • I have the option to join this or Air cadets. Only problem is that I'm a weak, scrawny lil thing and I dont want to be a "noob" D: However it looks like so much fun! Help me decide ><;;?

  • @sugarspice1313 hey man i know exactly where youre coming from, i was just like you and im now a full corporal in hampshire ACF. there is first a blatent choice, either you like flying ot combat then thats your choice i go to both and the air cadets dont get to use rifles that much, alsoarmy cadets gave me the confidence to speak out and gave me a clear carrer aspect to make my choice.[the army cadet force is not a recruitment for the millitary] although i dont want to join the uk army anymore..

  • @sugarspice1313 hey man i know exactly what you mean. my advice go for it while the government still allows it, it gave me my confidence and ability to make friends and opportunities. bus as u mention air cadets, i go to both im a full corporal in hampshire ACF, and getting rank in a bit in ATC, but go where u wanna go. the air cadets dont get rifles when there in the forrest tho but do a lot of flying..

  • @sugarspice1313 ..also th earmy cadets has bulit my carachter and given me carrer opportunities[the army or the MOD do not use any of the cadet forces to recruit]<<had to be said, and although i want to join the french legion now the army cadets made me who i am today, and it will look great on your CV, you will never be classed as those yobs that hang around on street cornere. go out there join the ACF,ATC sea cadets marine cadets or what ever an dGET SOMMEEE !!!! :DDDD

  • @MrBritainrules Thanks! I'm going to Army Cadets tmr. :) I just hope being a weak girl wont be too much of a disadvantage!

  • @sugarspice1313 what county are you, if u dont mind me asking?

  • @MrBritainrules Canada!

  • @sugarspice1313 woah ok theyll probs be different to here in uk like different weapons(youl get m-16s) and tactics but the principles should be the same. but still get stuck in every moment you can volenteer for everything itll mean recognition and promotion. i wish you luck. :)

  • @Jomando117 You dont have to tell me what a section attack is im an NCO in the Royal Marines

  • Are all cadet detachments combat cadets?

  • does this stuff happen for all army cadet groups nowadays?

  • @TheRealThang88 normally only on camp

  • was that guy relly injured or was that just training

  • do you use the L98A2s now because they were introduced at around the time of this video? im a Lcpl in the CCF btw :)

  • Wish i lived in UK or what ever... cadets in australia is shit house! we do no combat at all.

  • hey, r u guys in UK or something?? (im in Aust.) coz we're not able to use bush-sticks (rifles) at all.

  • WOOOOH. army cadets 4 ever.<3 but come on guys. cam up!

  • when people research the ACF about joining they will watch this video. Garunteed

  • @miky261 hope that's a good thing!

  • @PaulZimmo course it is! it got me to join beds and herts acf biggleswade haha :) cant wait for annual camp

  • that is a fucking awesome video

  • What is the Name of the last song at the end?

  • @Aischkk The actual last song (05:18)is Barbers Adagio for Strings.... however, if you mean the song just before that, it's Numb/Encore, Linkin Park & Jay-Z

  • r they actuallyy shooting at others or is it jst target practise

  • Wait, theres a combat team in cadets , how did i not know that and ie been in cadets for a year, how do you get in these sorta teams ?

  • Hi, you guys are pretty good. im from Australia and im in the logan Cadets

  • am a english cadet soo nice 1.

  • I got a question. Is it normal for your Sgt to fire blanks at your tent in the morning to wake you up

  • @MexicanHater22 Yep, that would be lucky, we're always woken by an attack on the harbour.

  • im in the Australian army cadets so thumbs up

  • was that battlecamp?

  • Fired the new L98A2 cadet GP rifle at woodbury with blanks for the first time.. Great time and great fun as well

  • You do all of this in air cadets plus more. Its funny because none of the "pretend" dead guys are taking it seriously haha

  • waw i have not everused or seen the old version of the A2 in real life

i dont know what its name is

  • @NadareXReshin29 police cadets drile is layed back to army cadets

  • @custimman should see the air cadets drill then because the army cadets drill is layed back compared to army cadets

  • s this the britishes cadets? cuz theyr uniform

  • i cant wait till i get to join, is it for actual military purposes, or is it just for fun?

  • @Sasha009000 well if you mean you have to join after, no. everything the ACF has to offer is Optional.

    Essex ACF CDT Hopkins

  • im joining on monday best thing is tht the Hq is 5 min away from my house

  • where are their BFA's because that was unsafe

  • @goste112 BFAs weren't used as the rifles were the old L98A1 Cdt GP Rifle which doesn't support the use of BFAs. Therefore, the safe distance for blank firing was 50m with this rifle, thereby making it perfectly safe.

  • @PaulZimmo ok

  • @PaulZimmo only proplem with using blanks on the old gp there used to be a 5ft flame which came out the barrel but now with the new weapon (l98a2 which we use the BFAs on) this doesn't happen.

  • @goste112 firing distance is larger around 50m i think without one

  • dieselheid- what detachment and what company?

  • am joining the cadets soon and cant wait till i get my army kit

  • A COMPANY !!!!

  • am in the bellsbank army cadets so whoo

  • Gloucestershire! any1 here about the colours giving parade in gloucester docks this gone saturday? great fun it was!

  • Cadets is AWESOME

  • tetbury!

  • the rifles B COMPANY!!!!!!!!!

  • Airforce Trainging Corps 17 Squadron (we r awesomer)

  • Always called this "Playing Army in the woods". Fun times. Way different from drills and such.

  • in field craft do you actully go against another team? i want to know about it

  • @gb924life yep there are usually 2 or more teams who fight against each other but its all planned in advance so no one gets hurt.

  • @OppengruppenSS ok thanks

  • @OppengruppenSS Really. Im going on a feildcraft camp in a months time. What is thos team thing like? Fun or boring?

  • @MrGearsOfWar96 its quite exciting really, just listen to your seniors and you should be able to have some fun, action and experience.

  • God damn! I wish Canadian Army Cadets could do training like this

  • @MILLMANTV1 12years old at the youngest, its a great experience:]

  • Can I just ask why in your attack at 2:00 are you crossing open ground to get to an enemy position when you have a perfectly good tree line with which to flank him, you should have a fire support group hanging back and surpressing the enemy and then move the rest of your section around and flank him, basic tactics boys fucking hell, if that was live ammunition you'd all be dead

  • @doomhammer67 well its not live amunition so it dont really matter

  • @doomhammer671

Verry good point, but you have to think that if the enemy has a good tactics knowlage then they can predict that. They may be ready for that which you need to be aware of changes mid mission so that you can easily switch position and attack from another point with different tactics if that were to go wrong. And if they are basic tacs which they are then they are easily picked up on and recognised. However never cross open ground like that, you guys are all dead! lol

  • @doomhammer671

You must remember this video was made up from clips during TRAINING. The attack at 2:00 was a training serial for a frontal assult/ fire & movement. The ground conditions were completly irrelevant in achieving the aim of the serial. You point is noted - i refer you to the attack at 4:00 (albeit shot from a different angle) this is the same serial but this time with a right flank. Hope this answers your question!

  • @doomhammer671 - Its called a section attack, you could be in that tree line for days and the enemy could keep firing at you. Also if you were to sit there they then could flank you or even they could do a section attack. And final, itmis how you would take out enemy possition if need be.

  • @MILLMANTV1 - We train at the age of 12 or in year 8, i aint in the combat cadet tho

  • whats the name of the first song?

  • and australia doesnt have this why>?..........

  • Thats not a live firing excercise mate, thats the old l98 a1, you had to cock the rifle after every round. L/CPL Mathews 2nd NI Battalion

  • @RubADubDubTitsInATub 2nd NI Bn??

  • @BassettAlmighty

    2nd Northern irish battalion

  • Comment removed

  • how come theres no BFA attached ? Didnt think u could carry out live firing excercises like that, only known it on the range, running around with live rounds seems a bad idea somehow :\ but either way would be cool :)

  • @cozcoz2010 just means firing distance is larger

  • yea, canada doesnt have this.. makes me so sad

  • Thank god they got rid of those bloody L98A1's, comes free with a piece of scaffolding on the side of the rifle. God Bless the A2 :p

  • @Duga125 Hell yeah to that! Remember some of the smaller kids couldn't even pull the bloody thing back!

  • @T3CHB3N I fucking know mate, I've been in a couple of years now, and when the (really) small kids have troubles cocking the A2, I just look at my assistant and go "If this was in the days of the A1... Their life would be so shit!"

    They get it easy now-a-days

  • yuh but the A1 was shit anway

  • @Duga125 the A2 is easy to cock

  • the marine cadets is one of the smallest organistations world wide, so i would not join them whereas the army cadets force has over 16,00 detachments, 20,000 regiments and 60,000 cadets

  • ACF is the same thing as ACC? Army cadet corps ?

  • 1) Do they use blanks in firefights? 2) Do they do real millitary training like practicing FIBUA 3) Do they get taught RoE 4) Do they have to qualify for diff sights and other equipment 5) Is the ACF better than the Royal marine cadets 6) what does the training consist of? 7) how do you join the combat team. Thanks guys hopefully join soom :D

  • @f1maniacz Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes (not much variety though). ACF doesn't take it as seriously as Marine cadets.

Drill, weapons, first aid, leading, map and compass, turnout, teamwork etc. Every cadet is part of the 'combat team'. You go on specialised weekends to do this stuff.

  • @f1maniacz

    1: Yes, they use blanks.

2: You do section attacks, not too sure of the FIBUA.

    3: Rules of engagement? No.

4: Iron sights is all you will use, unless you use the LSW, which has a SUSAT.

5: The ACF has many more detachments.

6: First aid, skill at arms, shooting, expedition, physical training, fieldcraft, map and compass, badges of rank, military knowledge.

7: I have no idea what the combat team is.

ACF 2 years, hopefully promoted soon.

  • In fact ive just found my duke of edinburgh award, cpl stripes 2 star and marksman badge. seriously folks it lasts a life time .

    Good times.

  • Well done lads, I remember doing that kinda training about 14 years ago and still to this day it will never leave me. It makes ye a better person in the end trust me ! GO THE ACF !!!!

  • @louswim well if you cant change it to automatic its not a semi automatic
