You could subdue the goat, by just talking to it in a another relaxed way without using the words of Allah and by holding it in the simplistic way as you do in the video. Which, is one of the key elements to rendering the goat submissive; turning the animal to its side, then onto its back then supporting the head back, makes it docile as if it were put back into a maternal phase of inception between parent and cub, like a mother cat gripping with its teeth the scuff of the back of kittens.

You actually treated the animal better than most of my saudi hosts and I thank you for that, I'm totally against animal cruelty in any way and the procedure of most of the slaughters in saudi were bad! To all those here who think that killing the animals purely for consumption is wrong... The above recited verses will be enough for you but let's say you don't believe in the Holy Quran then you should accept what is logical. Talk to your dentist if you don't know about teeth and the functions they perform. God gave you teeth that are required for this purpose just as He gave you teeth for consuming vegetables. The Sunnah is to slaughter the animal on it's LEFT side while facing the Qibla while the slaughterer places his right foot on the animal's right side. Al-Haafiz ibn Hajr says: That it will be easier for the one slaughtering to take the knife in his right hand and to hold it's head with his left.
