thats a really beautiful bird, I hope your idea for the guns comes out right, did you start with a flight sim, or did you get ahold of a blade sr and start with that?
I hope I can do the guns mods in a month or two maximun !.
I never learned to flight with sims, but I think they are really important for beginners.
I don't know if you remenber the GWS DRAGON FLY, was a 4 channels fixed pitch helicopter, this was my first heli...trust me, after fly this one the bigger ones was really easy, litle helicopters are to much difficult compared with the big ones.
What you need to get is a FPV system and put it in that helicopter. Either to fly from or just to have a mini camera inside the cockpit to see all the instruments and have a tv on the ground so that people can see what it looks like inside.
I'm working in a big Blue Thunder 700, i'm planning to make a full detailed cockpit with lights, LCD pannels and more like the pilots with movements, here the idea of the inside camera will be really cool in flight !
Wow!!!done it again Krumrick2 awesome job.........You need to get your gear out to the public you make some beautiful scale heads and landing gear, always top work.Again i take me hat off to you pure GENIUS!!!!!!
Thanks my friend !, but need to be honest, this landing gear have work on an recently died friend, he worked with milling machines over 30 years, he made part of it and I finished, the pivotable nose gear was his work as well the details on the wheels, the rest is mine.
That I like in thisAirwolf is my first attempt to build a scale interior, the panel is fully custom made, need to improve but this one serve as experience for others.
It's my long time dream tto own this kind of rc helicopter. But i don't how much will it cost me. Also, i would like to have guns moun ted at each side. Could you help me w/ that?
Of course will be a pleasure to help in your project, just let me know what kind of info you need, the guns actually you can buy ready to install with nice quality and details.
Hi Manuel ! Yes, it's ok for me ! But on my panel, it's impossoble because it's totally paint in black and full dark plastic. The only solution: cut the original panel, and made a new with glasses plastic... And i'm waiting for the pictures ;)
Hi Fabio, many thanks, nice heli to build this one, a real pleasure, right now i'm with the owner ( and good friend, Aurelio, in the city of Santos, the home of the new rising futbol star...Neymar), he really loved to !.
About the illuminated cockpit, later will send to you detailed photos of the process, is't not difficult at all ( at first I was afraid of that)...but from now on I will do in all the scale anove 600's size,
Thanks again, about the in flight video, the wind was really strong, tip my hat one more time for the Align 3G FBL that did a fantastic job stabilizing the helicopter in that condition.
If you want I wil send detailed photos of the illuminated cockpit panel process to use in your MD, easy to make, I enjoyed build that !...is just adapt the idea to the MD panel style.
What!? No working machine guns? What a rip off! lol I'M JUST KIDDING. My mouth hung open when I saw that instrument panel light up. That was amazing! Those landing gear and tires are incredible too! Alright! Ready for the movies.
I know Brian...I know, I wanted the idea of make guns to ( not working one for safety reasons rrsrsrsrsr hehe), but the owner don't wanted...but I think he will regret of that decision.
a must see for detail freaks . what a job great lighting job. that is setting a new high standard for cockpit detail. now i have to try and add lights to the dash of my f86. thanks for the insperation.
If you want I can send the detailed photos of the Cockpit Panel steps build, is really not difficult, took a litle bit of time and patience, but you can improve a lot your project.
That video left me speechless for awhile!! From the excellent detail in the heli itself, to the very scale like flying, to the fantastic setting sun backgroun to the landing with the taxi back....simply priceless!!
Thanks my friend, i'm enjoyed build and fly this one, I have more videos and detailed photos of this one, thinking in a longer video...what do you think ?
@krumrick2 how much $ did it take to build that o_o and what channel is it? looks like a 12 channel and man that helicopter is just amazing what i liked most was the light up dash board i was speechless when i saw the lights
The most expensive if you plan to mount this one will be the Scale Retracts landing Gear, for me nothing because I build ( I have tools to do).
The radio is the Futaba 14MZ, but you need ONLY 8 channels.
The lightsboard is not difficult to make ( will make of that), and will improve the quality in the next project ( the big Blue Thunder 700 size that i'm working)
Well done you!

Hi, ...the specs are: Futaba 14MZ radio, 14ch receiver, Flight Power EVO 6S 5000mhA Battery and EVO Lite 2S 1900mhA for the receiver,
Flight time 8 minutes ( usually I make short flights, up to 6 minutes to preserve the battery)
