  • Woa......so cool....i'm a st john ambulance brigade myself.....i really muz tell my teacher to make the training as close as this....

  • Very good job done! Cheers!

  • a mASSIVE HUGE response via St Johns and very good this help that is offered free of charge goes un reconised buy most people till it is to late

we need more funding n surport !!!

    thanks for great vid

  • Practicing makes perfect! That was PERFECT!

  • It makes a nice change for St John volunteers to be calling she shots in an excercise such as this. I know of divisiona that don't even get told let along invited to join in something like this.

  • Thanks Burlo!

Look out in October for MegaCode 4.0!

  • excellent simulation (sp?) if i didnt know it was a scenario, i'd have thought it was an actual accident. brilliant. well done all of you!

  • Ok, so, I'm in St John Ambulance Brigade in my school in Singapore. I wanna know more abt St John Ambulance history. It's so interesting. I'm still a cadet btw.

  • This looks like a good simulation... the make-up is excellent... here, with SJA I am a member of alpin ski patrol and I will suggest it to my instructor... this is a good idea to get prepared!

  • It is worth getting professional makeup artists. It may cost the organisation some money but we have found good moulage is the key to successful exercises.

  • I wish he'd stop saying St Johns!! It's St John! No 'S' grrr

  • imagine if something like this happened then we know that we will be safely treated.

this is also why i joined sja cadets to help people and know what to do in this or any type of incident

  • So do we!

  • Well done and I hope you never have to do it for real.

  • Hi SJENZ07

Yes there was a casualty clearing area in close proximity to the scene. Green label patients were transferred to one area and more critical orange and red label patients to another. As with all exercises siting these areas is critical and can always be improved.

  • Good to see the cooperation between the services - particularly the fire crews helping with the pt care side whilst extrication was taking place.

Just wondering - was there a specific triage area set up?

  • Thanks Persianone! We do these exercises so responders get an authentic experience. Thank you for participating and we will be sure to see you next time!

  • not all the memebrs were from Granville devision i was from hornsby but i must say it was the best experiance ive ever had and as the first team on the sene it was amazing to see all the effort and work that had gone into it so thanks everyone for their effort and their contribution looking foward to the next one

  • The exercise determined PPE as an area that needs further work not just in terms of equipment, but also training.

The exercise occurred just before sunset and proceeded into the night.

  • Thanks for the comment. Helmets are currently being changed at the moment. Not all members at present have helmets. PPE was something which evaluators stated was a challenge for all services.

  • Really cool! But Two Questions,

    A) Why Has Only A Couple Of SJA Personall Got Helments On

    B) Was it over 24 Hours Becuase it goes froom Dark to light :P
