  • The drummer Animal shows up in "Simon & Garfunkel the 1981 Concert in Central Park "

  • @TheTigress1962 I was born in 1981. I just turned 31

  • Love your Lever lol

  • ♫ Just slip out the back, Jack

    Make a new plan, Stan

No need to be coy, Roy

    Just listen to me ♫

    Rully. XD

  • I loved floyd and Janice's duet

  • 50 ways to love your lover here kinda sounds like Dire Straits.

Floyd singing Simon sounding like Knopfler. Only muppets can do that.

  • I SO should work ...

  • "Kissy! Kissy!" HAHA

  • I think Floyd's voice was made for singing 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover. Maybe I've had too much chocolate but, other than the Rowlf cracks, it's a pretty decent cover.

  • This is my favorite episode!

  • Some Trivia: This was the Only Muppet Show Episode where all the songs performed in the show was written and performed by the Guest Star himself Paul Simon!! How Cool is that? One show dedicated the whole time to the songs of the guest star of that show and it was Paul Simon to top it all off. How awesome!!!!!!

  • @BayareaGuy06 not entirely correct; Scarborough Fair wasn't technically WRITTEN by Paul Simon was it?

  • @BobDylansPet Correct. They way he plays it was actually arranged by Martin Carthy. It's a classic folk tune

  • haha 50 ways to love your lever...dirty...

  • Where Does Scarugh Fair Take Place.

  • @bobbarron1 Takes place in Scarborough, which is in England

  • @noahcism Oh.

  • Is it me or anyone else think Rizzo is wearing a tiny version of Floyd's original outfit?

  • love it. thank you for sharing.

  • If Paul was there why didn't he sing 50 ways to leave your lover? They got Elton to sing all his songs...

  • I take it this is after he and his son Harper appeared on Sesame Street explaining how records are made?

  • damn it i just LOVE the muppets

  • Is Miss Piggy Singing the Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme line in The Open Nunber?.

  • @bobbarron1 Yes she is :)

  • @fivebearrugs I Knew That All Along.

  • I just had a sneaky feelling that the opening number was going to be Scabrough Fair.

  • What key is the opening number in?.

  • The opening number reminded me of the Renaissance Fair. I love the Renaissance Fair.

  • why are all the muppets left handed?

  • @jonaspeter1 Because most performers are right handed, so they use the right hand to operate the head.

  • S: Nice song.

W: Yes. What did you think of the fair?

S: I've seen better fares on the BUS!

    Both: DOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO!!!

    I suppose he's right there!

  • Gonzo: That Paul Simon is FANTASTIC! He's really the kind of performer I'd like to be.

Kermit: He comes from a different area of showbusyness.

    Gonzo: He's so entertaining!

    Kermit: Exactly.

  • 6:09 - Timber!

  • What is he playing at 3:07? b/c I'd love to learn how to play that. ^^

  • Wow, what was up with Scarborough Fair? That was very hard to listen to.

  • @seyton144 yeah, they really needed someone to sing Garfunkel's part

  • @seyton144 & wasn't Miss Piggy's voice annoying!?
