what if they are millions or billions of years more advanced and use green energy, no signals or presence, they will just see us as primative violent kids, on a par with ants and have known our existence long before we even started looking for them but just leave us alone as we will only be around for a short time before we wipe our selves out or destroy ourselves, we are probably just an experiment, how not to treat a planet or all that exists on it.

Because once we do make contact the world will change dramatically. All world-wide religions will crumble. The people of the earth will no longer feel dominate and think of themselves as the only people in the universe. The world will become a better place. This closed paper bag world we live in now sucks.

That could happen, but Stephen Hawking says that we shouldn't be trying to contact life outside of our own planet and that it could be dangerous. That they could have used up their resources and are looking for another planet. And even if they weren't, what if they did come here? Then what? What if they bring some new disease to Earth like Cortes did with the Aztecs? The world might not be a better place.

@yomamasofat1000 I cant answer that question, no one can really. If they did land, and make themselves noticed, i would hope they would attempt to cope. But, us earthlings, especially americans, would look at the situation with a sort of blasphemy approach, they would ask, are they saved? do they believe in god? In all honesty it would be a huge mess. Maybe thats why theyve not made themselves noticed yet. Most earthlings are too blind by religion and would deny ET if they were in plain sight.

Wow I read some of these comments and ... wow! The towers fall and a passport survives. So what there was also alot of office paper and desks ect. that survived.
