I really love the fact that you wanted to stay true to the original with the sound, and I was trying to find a version of this tune that didn't have that jazzy beat starting after a while. With that being said not too fond of the bursts of artistic liberty every now and then. I would love a version that keeps the harmonic mood all through the tune. But overall a job very well done.

Playing the video in 240p forces the audio to play in mono but on both speakers; just a hint so you can at least listen to it through both speakers as opposed to just the one. Not a solution, but it's better than nothing.

@STMB64 Ah... There was a famous internet rumor of Luigi being in Super Mario 64, but you had to go through some ridiculous trial of randomly jumping throughout the entire game. The final trial is to jump over the box on the ship, like 29 times without getting hit (because the boat was teetering, it was difficult). When you did, you could ground-pound the box and a green hat would pop out.

In any case, it was funny to me :-)

One of the trials required that you get the 6th star on Whomps fortress (blast away the corner of the world or something) without getting the cannon, making the whole trial impossible. However, the internet proved that you CAN get that star, and the whole thing was disproven altogether. It was a photoshop stunt back when Photoshop wasn't cool yet. Sorry to confuse you- assumed you knew the reference.

it's maybe because you selected stereo input for recording, and the sound coming from the keyboards is monaural, thus, the sound only come out from one channel, so you should've selected mono input, the same used to happen to me when I started recording things in my computer lol

It's such an amazing and moving piece, it makes me remember the good ol' days like it was yesterday. It's hard to imagine that it was actually about 14 years ago. Time really goes by now doesn't it? :)

I'm learning this piece as we speak, I just recently started to learn the piano. I'm more of a guitar since a few years now, but there is nothing like learning some Zelda or Mario tunes on the piano. And this song in particular, it feels great when you really nail it.

I'd always play games like Ocarina of Time but wouldn't get into battles. I'd just ride Epona around Lon Lon and use the Longshot to go into the windmill (cause I thought that was the coolest thing). On this game I'd just come to Dire Dire Docks to hear the music and be METAL MARIO!!!
