  • I remember tryin this before and liking it alot and then trying it again later and being like.... this isn't so great lol.

  • @jeffbrister2004 Same here.

  • i like bud light lime but i still havent tried golden wheat

  • Anything by Anheuser is not craft beer.

  • good beer but starts to lose its good taste after two and u need to switch to a new beer

  • Hey Bitter, three words for you.............Andy Van Slyke.

  • @baredd79 Word.

  • @baredd79

    I have two! Rob Schneider.

  • wheat? you have not tasted the german beers... they are WHEAT beer.

I think that whatever they mixed there makes you fart (and believe me that I don't fart that much) but after I had 3 beers... no way Jose.

  • @albamassie Yeah cheap beer gives me wicked gas man. Love them German's. I Franziskaner was one of my first reviews ever. Maybe it was even my first. Great beer.

  • i like bud light lime way better then the bud light wheat beer

  • It's fuckin' good, IMO. Just not potent enough. If it was 5.5%, it'd be one of my favorites.

  • @TheGreatNothing one of the beers I've liked less and less each time I've tried it.

  • @BitterPoetMadman I've only drank it that one time (last night) and I'd had about 6 or so when I posted that, so we'll see what happens. LOL

  • Thanks for the review Madman. I am a fan of all types of wheat beer so I may just give this beer a try later on. The name just didnt sound right "Budlight Golden Wheat", but I wouldnt mind trying one at a party. I dont think I will ever buy a six pack though.

  • Not bad, i got this at a little less then 21 dollars for a case!! i love wheat bears but definately agree with the low calories (118 calories), it's awesome esp at the price!! usually i'm spending almost 30 or more for something good :)

  • im ONE second into this video AND GOD DMAN MAN what a great song i want bud light wheat SO HEAVY !! LOL ahahahhahah

  • @killuminati63 HEAAAAAVYYYYYYYYYYYY!

  • @BitterPoetMadman its not funny man i WANT BL G W soo badly im a huge fan of white/ wheat beers

  • @killuminati63 For me every time I've had this one I've liked it less. But it's still not bad, I just don't like it as much as I did when I first reviewed it.

  • They say you're supposed to roll it gently on a surface before you drink it. It's supposed to blend the unfiltered sediment that settles on the bottom.

  • it's st. patricks day i had it mixed with green food coloring...its decent..i still like regular bud light better at this point maybe if i drink a few more i'll like it better?

  • drinking a 6 pack right now as i watch this and it taste pretty good to me

  • I did not like it!!

    Yuk! Yuk! " F "

  • This has been one of those beers where I seem to like it less each time I try it.

  • Bud light golden wheat is an alright wheat beer, but it is not in my favorites comparing it to boulevard, or some other wheat beers that i have had.

  • As far as all wheat beers go, I think it's below average. But as a macro brew, it's decent.

  • good beer!

  • Yeah it's a decently good beer for the price. I'd take it over a Miller lite, Cooer's Light, or Bud light any day.

  • I really enjoy wheat beers and I was glad to see this come out... its nice to be able to buy a decent wheat beer that is cheap and extremely easy to drink... my only problem is that i can down a 6 pack in a little over an hour... hope to see more releases like this and the American Ale from Anheuser ... they're starting to do alright

  • I like drinking wheat beer when it gets cooler out. i love pounding miller lites in the summer and drinking wheat beer in the fall

  • nWo lol

  • 4-life

  • yo, its a twist off

  • my bad

  • haha your reaction at 3:04 (the "hmmm") is exactly what I did when first tasting the beer

  • Well every time I taste a bud product that's drinkable I'll probably make that same sound! lol

  • Damn good surprisingly. You can put a few away extremely easily.

  • No doubt.

  • great review dude...it definatly is a better beer than you would expect from the bud company...

  • Sta-stamp!

  • nice review i like it too and i got a 6 pack for $7.95.

  • Glad you enjoyed it!

  • Great beer reminds me of blue moon

  • Tried a sixer of this, and was very impressed. Didn't suspect it to be so good! It's been months since I've had my last Tiger beer, but it sort of reminded me of its taste. Not bad stuff. Very good review as well!

  • My favorite beer is BASS, but if you are looking for an inexpensive, not to heavy, wheat beer than wont fill you up like Hafen, then this new Bud Light Golden Wheat is the beer for you. I bought a 12 pack for $10.99 here in California. Heard there was a special when it came out, but since is it became popular, price went up a bit. It worth a try and is a huge step up from BudLIght, which tastes like water. Its not too fruity or sweet like many might think. Well, gotta open up my 11th beer!

  • you drunk.

  • It took a few weeks for me to get talked into trying this, as I'm not an AB fan by any means. I was pleasantly surprised, though. I'll be buying this again.

  • Dolphins beat the Jets tonight.. Makes me smile just a little bit.

Anyways... This beer is ok. Im partial to Budweiser for domestic beers b/c I am from St. Louis. However, Id rather have a blue moon

  • What a game!

  • my complaint about bud (inbev) products , miller, coors, or any cheaper bear is the after effects(hangover) and bud light and bud are the worst of all. For me sam adams is a better product. No pain the next day.

  • Nice review. I was able to find out that there are 118 calories versus a typical wheat beer around 170, so a definite addition to my fridge.

  • I think I'm gonna have to do a review sometime where I do a side-by-side comparison between a macro attempt at craft beer and a craft brewed beer of the same style.

I've had the michelob dunkel weizen which wasn't a bad attempt.

  • Good review BitterPoetMadman!

Im not too much a fan of Bud Light but Im going to have to try this one out.

  • Macros making semi-craft beer is a funny thing. It seem like they are trying to keep their current customers from trying real craft brews. "Why pay extra for that craft wheat beer, when we now make one? Now shut up and have another glass, buddy!" The funny part: they are in no serious danger of losing their stranglehold on the beer market. The craft brew thing is exploding, but it hasn't really eaten up a large part of the market.

  • This is true. But ya know... at least it's not a bad beer. For a guzzler beer, I think American Ale might be my favorite for straight getting drunk ya know.

But I think also with the craft market exploding, these are kind of like "gateway beers" other people might not be hesitant to try another kind of wheat beer ya know?

  • Yeah, in the end all that matters is if it's a good beer or not.:)

  • Yup!

  • I love wheat beers, I'm definitely gonna have to try that. Looking forward to that. This may become my new beer if the price is low.

  • I don't think A.B. are 'shooting themselve's in the foot'. I just think they are contributing to the beer 'awarness' of the world. Yes, there are better beers out there, but people aren't going to stop drinking A.B. They are a great company and they make great beer for the money.

  • Saw this today at the local Kroger's for $7.29 a sixer. was skeptical but I might try it now. Good review!
