I wonder why he doesn't consume any dairy or wheat products? There are other alternative foods with calcium but surely the main source would be from dairy products and why would this detrimental to his training?
@BubbaJohnIsKing Yes some of my freinds are lactose intolerent but they don't mention that any of them are intolerent. In this case Tabares suggested that those particular foods were cut out of their diet for training purposes in order to maximise nutrional ingestion. I've recently read since that post i made that dairy products slow the process of protein being broken down in the body but was wondering if anyone on here could confirm that?
@TheJasonXO I'm not sure about that myself, but on Ruben Tabares' twitter page he mentions the 'no wheat, no dairy' rule as being related to slowing the rate of lactic acid accumulation while training
