  • Never get tired of listening to this song. I have been playing it for 30+ years.

  • One of the prettiest love ballads ever.

  • My all time favorite song!!!

  • me too. for REAL!

  • The Fall...

  • That's great, thank you for the upload! I prefer it over the christmas version.

  • Ian, please get a backup vocalist to help or play this as an instrumental piece. It's hard to listen to you struggle to sing it...especially in comparison to the immaculate version on SFTW that I love so very much. Honestly, a second singer would help immensely.

  • Well at least he can carry a tune still. Of course his voice is strained and is not what it used to be. Actually their new bass player David Goodier sings backup on some songs.

  • Oh, I know. I've been a fan since the early 70s. I've followed the band the entire time. I'm just saying that if Ian wants to maintain this continual touring lifestyle, he'd do better to get a singer to back him up. For instance, it sounds amazing when he has backup in the Heavy Horses clip from this same show.

Oh, and I wish they'd put out some new material. The fans are craving some new, "real Tull".

  • Well yeah I agree with you there, I'd love to see them put out some new music, and there has been talks of it, but nobody seems to know when. Anyway yeah, your right about that Heavy Horses clip, he does sound good with backup vocals. But I think he can still sing he just strains to hit some of the higher notes.

  • Well, if I recall correctly, Ian has most of the material for a new album, and hopes to record it some time in 2010 or 2011. He don't think there'll be time to record it before that.

  • Well that is good to hear! Hope they'll make it!

  • Wow, how cool to see this rare gem in the set. I won't even say back in the set, my recollection has it not having been played at the SFTW show or any since, but apparently I could be wrong. Anyway would make the very short list of my favorite Tull pieces, as would the entire SFTW record. Was never certain it lent itself to live performance, hard to say off a You Tube video for which I am grateful, loved the new version on the Christmas album

  • tullist, I agree it's great live addition! Though it's been played live at at least one concert in 1977 and then during "Broadsword" tour, in medley with "Weathercock".

  • How beautiful! Thank you so much! :)
