  • Used to do foam roofing, Dear lord it is hot. Im pretty sure the foam somehow makes the roof hotter than it would be. And dont get it in your hair. ANYWHERE. :)

    Cool video

  • is this stuff toxic when exposed to heat ?

  • The average home lasts 60 yrs so $11 a month for 60 yrs equals $7920 as well as increasing the homes resale value, a sounder safer home structure, the ability to create and maintain your own environment clean safe air, allergan free, mold free air. Do me a favor and get an education about closed cell spray foam before you count pennies, save my natural resources, or be ignorant buy some batt insulation, make no effort to conserve energy, and start a mold, bug, rodent experiment at your house

  • @pacifi11$/month in savings. CAN YOU NOT READ. 35$/month on mortgage just in interest, or @ 13,000$ in cost over 30 years, to save 7920$? Here is the part where you make yourself look really stupid. For less than the price of foam, you could get more thatn 11$/month in savings. You can actually get double the savings with a similar investment in loosefill. Loosefills arent made of PETROLEUM, is rated for INDOOR AIR QUALITY, is mold resistant, increases the home value MORE than foam, its r-60!

  • So, fuck YOURSELF out of thousands. Risk not getting enough fresh air and suffering the health effects such as cancer the reason ASHREA REQUIRES fresh air. When the foam falls off your ceiling (the reason explained by Austin Energy for not offering rebates and incentives on foams) License # CAN06347, do me a favor and get educated PERIOD. Foam homes are FAR from the most efficient, so, you spend more, then fuck your environment up more because you cant do a simple manual J!

  • @pacificdrummer71 60yrs? My house is over 100 yrs old

  • There are wide variety of densities of foam and application thickness amounts I believe that your calculations are based on minium thickness (1"-11/2") or on an open cell application a typical closed cell application (11/2") or a full cavity say 2x4 wall (31/2") returns on a 1800 sq. ft. home can save you 5 times the amount you have claimed. The investment absolutley returns and pays for itself in as little as 2 years, and continues to return so lets say it only saved you $11 a mo.

  • @pacificdrummer71 Don't be a fool! you do realize insulated wall makes up @3% of you envelope. Loosefills in a 3.5" cavity outperform open cell. The only insulation that has better R-value in walls is closed cell, ofcourse you are increasing the R-value of 3% of your envelope, not doing much are ya? PLEASE GET SOME RETURN ON INVESTMENT SOFTWARE OR LEARN TO DO A BTU LOAD CALCULATION!!!!!! Your imaginary savings from foam are enough to justify the loony bin. "as little as 2 years" LOL!!! COME ON!

  • where's the second part of this

  • "its a secret weapon on the war in energy consumption" LOL, its been out for like 40 years, anybody want to take a guess why its still a "secret"........I can give you a hint, I just had a customer ask me to calculate a return on investment for foam. Her home had an ideal air leakage number, and she had a fairly efficient HVAC with avg. insulation. She told me her bid was 5500$, which is 35$/mo. on a mortgage. The foam at most would save her about 11$/mo., anybody still curious why its secret?

  • let me guess, you do batt insulation

  • i used to do that. man its hot.
