just picked one up yesterday, the 750$ pricetag was tough, but it surfs ridiculous, the board is so freaking fast it's hard to think you're on a 5'8. The tail isn't razor thin like it is in the video, it's definitely thin, but only in comparison to the rest of the board. I got the 5'8. Love it
Yeah, the price tag was Really, really tuff. I got the 5-8 as well. I weigh 168. A little tough getting used to a low volume board again. That sucks. But surfing it is getting more and more amazing. It's actually a little confusing. I can turn so tight and go to new places I almost have to rethink how I can surf the wave. I don't get many new boards but think it's the best board I've ever ridden.
@nzwarrior89 the waves you want to ride are faster waves with a bit of push. It's not a small wave grovel board. It's basically a snub nosed pin tail. I ride point break waves and the flatter rocker and pintail work good in this type wave. Better for shoulder high and up to like head and a half although I've been out in double overhead plus and it handles. Sell one of your other boards so it's not so painful to chuck out the money. Yes, it's worth the money in my opinion.
@StratosphereDweller is a good board of course for good surf but responds well in small surf too? and onshore waves? padle like fish boards, easy to padle? it seems that has a lot of volume in the nose... thanks
@repullulat responds well in crapy days, onshore waves? and small surf? i want to know because i want to surf with that in any kind of conditions...!thanks
its a great board , it giving you a very stable feeling droping in good waves that you tend to lose or cant make with regular fish ,on the other hand feels quick on the wall and pockets and on smaller surf .
i ride it quad usualy and surfed it up to 6-8 foot , you need to make sure you dont take it too big because it has volume , i ride the 5.10 and could do also with the 5.8 let me know if you need anything more ,cheers
@kobishoham nice! and it is easy to padle because of the volume? have tried in crappy waves, onshore surf?it is fast in these kind of conditions? i know that is very good in normal offshore waves but i want to know if it a good board to still use in summer, weak swells and onshore waves? thanks
i found it as a great alternative to a shortboard in 90% of the days and i ridden it in surftrips and winter bigger swells .
for summer 2-3 feet weaker swell i prefer the POD that is a little wider in the tail but if i had to make the choice for one board only to have i would go for the wizard

@Surfelix @Surfelix
the board is floating good and easy to paddle also catches the waves very easily,
there are boards out there that will better work in VERY small choppy waves but will not give you the same in bigger surf ,
